I looked up Canna ( I am new to gardening) and they are very pretty, I think I will have to get some! I looking for more tropical plants to fill in the are that already have the Bird of Paradise and I think the Canna would be a good fit.

John my image above is a screenshot from my Office Outlook which is very different from the free Outlook. Do you save many emails? If you are a casual saver then you could copy the email contents and paste into a word processing program. Every PC has Wordpad installed if you have nothing better. You could right click on My documents and create a new folder to save them in. Just a thought. If you are like one lady I know that would not work, she has around 3000 emails with over 1000 unread. Seems like built in aggravation to me but to each his/her own I suppose.

I agree with FM on 1 and 3 but think that 2 is an aster, what used to be called Aster cordifolius , but is now called Symphyotrichum cordifolium AKA heart-leafed aster AKA wood aster. It's a common wild plant here in New England that blooms with a froth of pale purple/blue/white in the fall and then seeds around everwhere. Easiest to pull up when still young.
