New Year, New Coputer, New Problems

When I look at my e-mail, it starts out small, in the middle of the page. The other day, I clicked on something to make it full screen, but can't remember what it was. Does anyone know what it was?

In e-mail, this one has, on the left:
Inbox
Sent
Drafts
Spam Detector Empty

On the old one, I had a few more folders, among them, "John's Stuff", where I could move stuff I wanted to save for a while, by clicking on a button called Move To Folder. Does anyone know how I can do it on this one?

We also need to know the E-Mail client being used ?

One possibility is root strangulation. If you don't untangle the roots when you plant, the plant may be root bound and eventually the roots will strangle each other. That would explain why one plant could be perfectly healthy and the one next to it dying. Most rhododendron and azalea plants sold at nurseries and garden centers are sold in containers or have a root-ball that is covered with burlap. These plants have a potentially serious problem when the roots reach the container and start circling inside the pot. They become pot bound or root bound. These roots must be cut so they don't continue to grow and start strangling other roots. Many apparently healthy plants die when the roots start strangling each other. To prevent this when planting, it is necessary to remove the plant from the container and and examine their roots. If the plants appear pot-bound and have a thick, dense mat of fibrous roots along the surface of the root ball, used a knife to make three to six vertical cuts, about 2 inches deep, equally spaced around the sides of the root ball. Then use your hands to gently loosen the roots where cuts were made and pull the roots outward. This process stimulates new root growth and allows water and nutrients to penetrate into the root mass. If the roots are not pot-bound, it is not necessary to slice them with a knife, but it is beneficial to loosen and pull them outward with your hands. Ours was utterly quiet, although not unpleasant :). Both kids were off doing their own NYE celebration so the house was nice and calm. We ate dinner, chatted, then he went to sleep early and I read for awhile. Boring? Maybe but also a moment to cherish being secure in our lives and with so much for which to be grateful. Please Edit your e mail address out. What I meant was are you using G Mail, Yahoo, Hot Mail etc

If you have a left sidebar similar to the one shown then try a right click on the parent header. In my case the Personal folders header, then you should have the option of adding folders as needed,

Thank you for your reply, I don't know how you got that picture in your posting, but all I have on mine are the things listed in my first post. I don't, currently, have the headers, like you show. (Mail, Favorite Folders, Mail Folders, and Personal Folders)

Right click on Inbox. I bet you will see in the appearing menu either Create Folder or New Folder. Click on that offering. A window will pop up, or a folder will appear in the Inbox tree offering for you to name it. Name it what ever you want and then click on any vacant area of the screen. Feel free to create as many folders as you want.

On the full screen concern try F11 to reduce the presentation.

On Outlook, there was a spot that said, "New Folder". Clicking on that, I got a box where I could type in a name of a new folder. On Verizon, there is no such spot, and right clicking on Inbox brings up a menu, but creating a new folder is not included.

John my image above is a screenshot from my Office Outlook which is very different from the free Outlook.

Do you save many emails? If you are a casual saver then you could copy the email contents and paste into a word processing program. Every PC has Wordpad installed if you have nothing better. You could right click on My documents and create a new folder to save them in. Just a thought.

If you are like one lady I know that would not work, she has around 3000 emails with over 1000 unread. Seems like built in aggravation to me but to each his/her own I suppose.

Thank you for your reply. I'll figure a way.

A little aside: On the old machine, my address was @Verizon.net, even though I was looking at them in Outlook Express. Over the years, unbeknownst to me, they were also appearing on Verizon. The other day, my wife told me I had 47,000 e-mails there!
