Great pics, and I love to watch the little critters that visit the gardens! I spend hours contorting myself into strange positions to get pictures of the pollinators and other visitors. At first, the bees or butterflies seem skittish when I first appear, but after a few minutes, they seem to get used to this big human creature with a camera. They let me get very close sometimes. Here are a couple of the assorted bees that come to pollinate - Yesterday was very exciting, a female Monarch was alternating between nectaring and laying eggs on the Asclepias tuberosa and incarnata. Here she is nectaring - And here she is laying an egg - Can you spot the butterfly in this picture? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Oh, here she is!

We have a pool enclosure and I have plumerias around the pool. If someone leave the enclosure door open, hummingbirds usually come in to feed on the plumeria blooms then get so tired flying around to find an exit. We usually pick them up and lay them on a bush outside the enclosure or net them so we can set them free. We also net or pick exausted butterflies and bees from the enclosure so now we try hard to remember to close the door. Next year we're planning on putting the plumerias outside in the garden to save these wildlife from stress and exhaustion. Your hummer is a darling and you are so kind.

Karen, I'm also glad to hear I'm not the only one who doesn't like making spider webs. DGD should be down this week and if not I know she will be down to Trick or Treat. Thanks for your comment. Jeanne, thanks, I put 3 large candy bars in the bags and will add a popcorn ball. I'm only giving this much to our favorite spooks. The others only get 1 bar.LOL Luvs, I just bought the tablecloth this year at Ross and the table runner at TJ Maxx. I was planning on doing a more formal TS with the runner but don't know if I'll get it done. The treats are Nancy Adam's Premier Krispies and are wrapped individually and one of DGD favorites. OA, thanks for the comments. I bought the spider napkin rings a few years ago. Jane, this was a fun table and I'm sure DGD will enjoy seeing all of her dishes on it. She will not stay with me on Friday nights because she goes shopping at Target and doesn't want to miss her weekly shopping there. She always tells me to come with her and I do every couple of months. Glad all of you liked my new tablecloth and dinnerware on this table. Just noticed I didn't add silverware. I don't think it would be necessary as all the treats will be finger food. Also great to hear I'm not alone with the web making. I'm not looking forward to trying to pull all the little spiders I added out! I think this will be a DH job as he cleaned all of them off from last year so I could try my luck at it again this year.LOL Punk

Just an old jar, filled with a Dollar Store eyeball candies and decorated with a sticker makes a nice Halloween dec, I think. I made my little ghost many, many years ago : I painted my witch at the same time, and also the scarecrow below in another pic: Light in our entrance foyer: Hutch in there with more books: My cousin's book, "Boo, Bunny!" always has a place of honor there. These Halloween farolitos are easy to make with an empty gallon milk jug. Leave the handle on it and, after decorating as a monster, scary face, a cat or whatever, fill with 2-3 inches of sand and insert a votive candle. Halloween "Ghost Eye" Tree centerpiece made by DD when she was younger: My favorite cat sits on top of our wine cab: Spook up any lamp with a bit of black cheese cloth that the Dollar Stores always seem to carry at this time of year. Draped around the top are just a couple DS necklaces. A nice, big spider is a fun addition.
