I got into design via Landscape Architecture, which I studied at the University of Virginia.

Halloween entryways run the gamut — some homeowners compose pumpkins, gourds and hay in a pretty fall display, while others have fun making their guests navigate faux headstones and spiderwebs. Will you be welcoming your trick-or-treaters or weeding out the fraidy cats this year? Show us by posting a picture in the Comments section. Whether it's the porch or right inside the front door, your entryway could appear in a follow-up feature on our homepage.
This handmade witch, row of floating hats and group of smiling pumpkins imply that there are yummy treats inside this home.
Double, double, toil and trouble ... this is a much scarier witch, who seems to be protecting the porch from tricksters.
Decorations that aren't specifically Halloween-themed will last through Thanksgiving.

"Creepy Black Cloth and a Pumpkin Face Door"
My first wood project. At night it's spectacular! Pink and orange lighting. I made my hand bloody. Which I put my hand through the pumpkins mouth and handed out treats. I wore a bright orange skull mask and a fogger shooting fog through the pumpkin doors mouth. I duct taped orange mini lights to the back of the pumpkin face door to illuminate it from behind. Thanks for letting me share! Happy Halloween!!!!!!!! Since this Halloween, I painted the chimney black, the corner planter against the house black, concrete square black (sidewalk/pathway), and made a black huge wall planter (DIY). All the black looks beautiful against my robin's egg blue exterior. Pumpkin Face Door is by far my favorite Halloween décor.
