The results of my test answers said I'm Charlie Brown.

You don't care about expensive presents and tacky holiday displays -- you'd rather spend a few meaningful moments with the people you love. Mine said I was the Grinch. I don't believe it. There wasn't an answer I liked for all of the questions.

msrose - sorry I was out of town for a few days and couldn't respond. Yes, the wall color is BM Wilmington Tan. always - yes, the spot appeared to move, but when my hubby took it back to the store, it was not easy to see at all in the store. Fortunately, the store took it back anyway, and they will be sending a new rug in the next 10 days. I hope the new rug doesn't have this problem. hilltop - thanks - you just confirmed what we have been thinking. Let's see what happens when the new rug arrives.

Suzieque, O.K. (;-) My FIL was my bestest friend. He was like a father to me, as I never had a father that I was close to. I went to live with my grandmother when I was young and my father remarried after my mother died and he had a complete other family. I got married young, and my FIL was like a father to me. He even finance my way through school, encouraged me in every way. He was an Appalachian mountain man from the hills of Tennesse. He had a fierce Love of Jesus, and a love for all peoples. He would give you the shirt off his back and loved nature, fishing, wildlife, gardening, anything to do with Gods' green earth. He was so smart...He was a radio man in the War. He did the Morris code back then. He had a television and radio store and sold them plus worked on people's t.v.s and radios. He was so trusting of people. I had helped him with his books before dh and I were married. I went to him and ask him why there were so many outstanding accounts that had not been paid. Some were over 6 years old. He replied that the good Lord would take care of it and for me not to worry. God would provide, and Mr. or Mrs. So and So would pay when they could.. He ended up being right. You know God did take care of him, as he never went without, and he built up for himself a nice estate off that little store. He taught me MANY good lessons and life skills. I hope I'm not a troublemaker! I was patient with the first post since it showed up on my dashboard, but it never showed up in the index. The first test I did showed up. I edited it to the content I wanted to talk about and that showed up. Then a couple of minutes later, it disappeared. That's why I thought I might be being trolled. Sigh. It wasn't important. Just a discussion starter, but this is bad.

OT...Kathy, you mentioned looking forward to living in a retirement village but they are not suitable for everyone. Some of the residents here are not happy but cannot afford to move as the cost of buying a home again is too much. They are dismayed by the way the management fees have risen as the cost of maintenance gets higher and they pay for facilities that they don't use. It mostly suits me but I don't have much say as I am only renting a one bedroom self-contained place and the complex is run more for the owner/occupiers who paid a good amount to buy a lease for life villa and have a management board.

You're Frosty the Snowman!

Happy Birthday! We're not sure why you say that instead of "Happy Holidays," but we think it's kind of cute. For you, every day is worth celebrating, because it's finally winter! You spend as much time as possible outdoors with your friends. You'll take cold, snowy air over a stuffy, overheated building anytime. (Could someone please turn that thermostat down?) Since you like the cold, you don't always bother to bundle up, but you look great in winter accessories like scarves and hats.

Pretty appropriate I'd say for someone who's vacationed in Alaska or Antarctica the last four years!

You're Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas!Hmm... we get the feeling that Christmas isn't really your area of expertise, but that's not going to prevent you from celebrating. You love trying new things, and this year, you're ready to bring your own special touch to the holidays. If it doesn't work out (let's say, hypothetically, that you end up ruining everything), you might want to leave Santa in charge of future gift-giving. On the plus side, your unorthodox approach to the holidays might just win the heart of a secret admirer! Keep an eye out for sweet, sorrowful rag-doll types
