Okay, this is still up. I wonder if someone was flagging that particular post for some reason? They don't like me talking about cooking with vacuum sealed meat with a circulator under water at a constant temperature. I've had some great results, but for some reason I'm not allowed to post about it.

Some of the "changes" I like...now that I've figure them out. It would have been nice - and expeditious - if they had posted how-to directions on all Forums.

On another forum people are currently complaining about starting threads and then they show up hours or even days later. Now some of these people are trouble makers but still I think it’s a forum issue, not to be taken personally. :)

I was patient with the first post since it showed up on my dashboard, but it never showed up in the index. The first test I did showed up. I edited it to the content I wanted to talk about and that showed up. Then a couple of minutes later, it disappeared. That's why I thought I might be being trolled.

Sigh. It wasn't important. Just a discussion starter, but this is bad.

pillog, do you have notifications turned on? My similar experience showed the lost thread in notifications but no where else.

Albert, I do. I can also find them on my dashboard. It turns out they weren't being deleted. They went to a parallel page and somehow not to Cooking. I posted a thread about it.

Houzz has a screw loose and it's rattling around the machine causing havoc.

My submitted, edited, resubmitted thread, lost on Friday just showed up. Perhaps they've fixed it.

Yes, two of my lost ones showed up this afternoon as well, and one was identical to another so if an checker against identical threads got it, no big deal.
