I don't know. I'm supposed to leave for work at 3:15, but we're having freezing rain that's supposed to get worse. During my home time, I need to CLEAN!

Today is the awards banquet for DH job. I will have to be there by 9:30 AM. It will be a long morning till lunch is served....

Not subbing today. It's pouring down rain. So I was planning to get caught up in housework, especially laundry. But the phone rang a minute ago, and a friend/neighbor asked me to come by for coffee, we haven't chatted in a while. I know I'll be there a while. So, I'll get something in the washer and dryer and then go.

Since I'll be gone this weekend, I have to go into town and hit all the stores I missed on Monday, wrap the out of town gifts and get those in the mail today or tomorrow, dig thru the boxes at the storage shed and bring some more Christmas-y stuff to the house, find the cards and start the Christmas letter (it will need LOTS of editing to keep it under a page!), decide if I'm going to do any baking and what it will be. Whew, didn't realize what a full day I have!

I'm working from home today ... running reports for our monthly "scorecard" of how the department did.

Tonight I'll be making some goodies for a department holiday luncheon tomorrow.

It's cold and windy outside right now and supposed to rain or snow later today. I'm going to stay in the house and work on scrapbooks for a while then wrap some gifts. Later this evening I have to take Anna to TaeKwonDo class.

Usually this is my cleaning house day, but today I am going to go shopping. I'll clean tomorrow.

Since it is a rainy day, I plan on staying home and working on a couple of thank you cards I need to get made, and also birthday cards for the coming year.

I have a sewing project, I promised a friend a wine box cover to match her kitchen and since we're going over there tomorrow, I thought I should do it today. I've only had her fabric for about 7 months!

The carpet cleaner guy just left. So, as soon as the carpet dries a little, I'll put the furniture back. In the mean time, I'm 'stuck' here in the bedroom. Guess I'll have to read here, and play some Pogo games a few hours.

I had to be at the pool again at 8 a.m. for p.t. The water was cold, so I didn't enjoy it as much as yesterday. I'm going to finish up the Christmas cards to send out, then visit with a neighbor who is coming over this afternoon.

Clean house. Order gifts online. Wait around for the dishwasher repairman.

Just came in from second physical therapy! That's about it!

I went to see my aunt in a nursing home. She was glad to see me the most I think. Her daughter and my mom/her sister went too. We took her to the thrift store and the gift shop the home has. It's a wonderful home and we passed the swimming pool I did not know they had.
Gee.
Then mom and I went to Big Lots and for lunch (Chinese). I went to the barn and fed the horses some hay. Now I am home just relaxing.

Tonight I am going to the ISU women's basketball game. A group of us have season tickets.

I put the Christmas tree up & got the lights on last night. Guess I'll get some ornaments on it today. Promised to make DH some sugar cookies, better do that!

I went my book club meeting this morning. We had the author, Donna Morrissey, as our guest as we are reading her book, "What They Wanted", as this month's selection. It was very interesting - she was delightful but not quite what I expected. I got a tremendous insight into the author's inspiration and technique. Then we had a pot luck lunch - yummy casseroles and desserts. The rest of the day is free!

Colored my hair this morning. I need to leave shortly to take the dog to the vet. When I get back, I'll fix a pot of soup to simmer. Then need to wrap the gifts I want to get in the mail tomorrow.
