I've been checking periodically to see if anything has been posted, but nothing yet... Didn't Nicole have a doctor's appointment Monday? Didn't she say that the doc would induce today (Tuesday) if she hadn't gone into labor?

Claude -- where are you with updates?!?

Cheri~ As appalling as this situation sounds, and I am very sorry for you, are you able to clearly separate fact from hearsay? I would be very angry, too, but in time I think I would would be afraid for what has happened to my daughter. Was it a breakdown, do you know for a fact she left on her own, can you confirm any of this? Once you know the facts, from there you can sort it out. Her life is not your life, and if she still desires to have a relationship with you, she will at some point, know she has to explain something. In this situation, it is most important to disregard things you hear from others and focus on what you have heard from her directly. Good Luck

DGD had her surgery today

Kat--she had her 4th knee surgery. The first surgeon put screws in her knees that were too LONG. This surgeon had to re-do them. He said no one should have to have surgery like this, especially not 4 times and especially not at 16 y o. My DD and her DH are friends w/ the first surgeon. They won't even tell him about his mistake. I think they have grounds for malpractice, but they won't even consider it.

Yes, it is. Kalanchoe luciae. It is in ok shape, looks like it was or wants to bloom. That is when they shoot up a long and quite thick stalk, with flowers at the end - eventually. Mine finished blooming recently, and has quite a few offsets from roots and on the stalk. These plants are monocarpic - when blooming is all finished, blooming rosette dies. Mother plants should grow lots of offsets to 'replace' itself. Where did you take piece off (what part of plant) - one you have potted up?

Hi! I'm still here - a week overdue now. I saw my doctor yesterday afternoon. I have to go for a non-stress test this morning, and after I have that done I have to call my doctor's office to schedule an induction (which will be either tomorrow or Friday).

I'll post this afternoon when I know what time on which day.
