I'm Trying, Really.

I always make my bread in the machine, start to finish.

It often comes out looking "less than pretty."

I've been on a hunt for a nice ceramic loaf pan to bake bread in....not an easy task. But I finally found one.

So I remembered to just do the dough cycle and bake my loaf in the oven.

I didn't realize it would rise so quickly in the pan, so it's a little over the edge......but hey, with some practice, I think I'll be doing it this way a lot.

I wasn't sure how long to cook it.....the top sounded hollow, but when I got it out, it was wet at the base and sides. I wonder if the ceramic would contribute to that? So I stuck it back in. It's not cool enough to slice yet...
