What's for dinner 11/24?

I think I'm going to order a pizza. I'm not very hungry because I've been smelling food all day! I've been cooking all day for tomorrow, but the good news is all I have to do tomorrow is roast the turkey, bake the potato casserole and stuffing, cook the green beans and heat the rolls. I sure would hate to have to do all that tomorrow since DD and family have to leave Friday afternoon.

I made Nodakgal's cinnamon rolls and they just came out of the oven smelling like heaven!

Baha Burgers, today.
grilled pork burger, build your own, so I had lime chipole sauce and pepper jack cheese served on a wheat rosette

With a side of fried sweet potatoes mixed with fried okra

Grilled lamb chop, scalloped potatoes and squash and broccoli and cauliflower.

Some kind of enchiladas at a Mex Rest. in Flagstaff - including guacamole, etc. Good. Couldn't eat it all, brought some home ... and daughter said that she guessed, that being the case, that I wouldn't have room for deep fried ice cream (we all love ice cream). We didn't have the ice cream. As the enchilada had meat in it, I finished it before I went to bed. Now I'm here chewing the fat with you folks - but not having anything to do with carry-over from the dinner, though. Free milk here ... which I'm enjoying whole-heartedly. Moo - o - o! Was over to see Mom in hospital today. She asked if I'd go to her home, get a roast out of the freezer, cook it well-done, have mashed potatoes, carrots around the roast etc. When Wally gets home from work the 3 of us can eat dinner then. I did, and Wally was surprised and thrilled. Mom's been in the hospital 10 weeks, and Wally is still loving his pasta. He feels much more comfortable eating at home than at other people's places, even ours, so I didn't mind cooking for him at their home. Dinner was good!

poor dh! he got frozen pizza...i nibbled on the crust (minus meat) to see if it would sit ok...so far so good! we usually are salad, veggie every night eaters, but that seem to be the last thing either of us wants for now... maybe a good thing..go to dr on monday and hope i lost a lb or 2, lol...

Here you go, nodak! The house still smells like cinnamon rolls! I'm so very tempted to "make sure" they're fit for company :-)

I fixed chili soup and we had home made pumpkin pie too. There were 6 of us for supper tonight. Been a busy day.
