Downtown to the industrial area for lunch at Sarris!

smoked sausage and sauerkraut EXCEPT steamtable was out of kraut and they brought me COLD kraut. Yuck.

The veggies weren't that good, today.

Guess I won't go back there for a while.

today is my husbands birthday, I had planned on baking a ham but he wanted one of the baked stuffed boneless chickens that are stuffed with crawfish jambalaya so that is what is in the oven and he wanted crowder peas to go with it so that is also on the menu.

Was over to see Mom in hospital today.
She asked if I'd go to her home, get a roast out of the freezer, cook it well-done, have mashed potatoes, carrots around the roast etc.

When Wally gets home from work the 3 of us can eat dinner then. I did, and Wally was surprised and thrilled.

Mom's been in the hospital 10 weeks, and Wally is still loving his pasta. He feels much more comfortable eating at home than at other people's places, even ours, so I didn't mind cooking for him at their home. Dinner was good!

Bison steaks, tator tots, garlic toast, corn and carrot sticks with ranch dressing.

Steak, mashed potatoes and Brussels Sprouts.
