DH has requested hot hamburger sandwiches with home made french fries and salad. One of his all time favorite meals.

Hot chicken sandwiches, scalloped potatoes, salad, and leftover cherry pie from yesterday.

Taco salad, Quesadillias,Potato's with CHORIZO,some sort of fruit. maybe a dessert

Don't know, still drooling on yesterdays lunch.

New Orleans Restaurant for oysters on the half shell, crawfish etoufee and fried crawfish tails.
Dessert: AWESOME New Orleans style bread pudding with pralines.

No I did not eat the whole thing. Three of us shared the oysters and the bread pudding. :o)

Something with chicken. Ho hum! Hopefully someone will post a chicken dish that will get me more excited about it.

Change of plans: pasta tonight.

We're going to Chili's tonight. DH has been craving their fajitas for awhile now. Taking DS, DIL and Ricky and Seth....should be fun, always is!

? Maybe chili that I made a couple of weeks ago, and froze some.

I just put a pot of corn chowder on. Well, in the slow cooker. The bacon is still cooking to put in it. Having hot dogs and fries to go with it.

Soft tacos

Sweet and Spicy Chicken
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes or leave them whole if you prefer.
3 tbsp. taco seasoning
1 to 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 jar (11 oz) chunky salsa
1/2 cup peach preserves

Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag; add taco seasoning and toss to coat. In a skillet, brown the chicken in oil. Combine salsa and preserves; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until meat juices run clear. Serve over rice.

Mahi Mahi fish, steamed rice, broccoli there is ice cream for dessert if anyone wants some.

Leftovers..Dh will have his choice between green pepper soup or a teriyaki chicken breast with roasted honey glazed sweet potatoes. What he doesn't want, I get to eat. There is some leftover garden salad also for both of us.

Easy Lasagna, Tossed Salad, Garlic Bread, Tea and if HD's attitude improves, I might make dessert!

Split pea soup and chicken 'muffins'.

I have a frozen pkg of large shrimp in the fridge and we will do some type of stir fry tonite.
I just got back from my neighbors house, bless her heart she lives alone and has the "crud"
She called me to bring her a care package because she just didn't want to have to go to the store.
Took her over some chicken noodle soup, a chicken soup for the soul for pet lovers book, and some bagels and cream cheese. I hope she feels better. It is really a cold day here and she needed some comfort food.

fAINALLY DECIDED ON LUNCH!

Baja Burgers: Had pork tenderloin burger on rosette wheat and a side of yumster sweet potato fries with some fried okra thrown in.

Me, Lauren and one of her friends ate at a nearby Japanese place for a late lunch, so I won't be fixing anything till later. I bought some stuff to make beef fahitas. I've never made them before so hopefully they'll be ok.

Made some shrimp scampi and garlic bread.

we started off w/ pina coladas on the lanai (it' 70 outside again!) and now DH is making coconut shrimp w/ pineapple salsa. it finally started to warm up outside so we're feeling tropical LOL ~ liz

Okay, Liz....you keep that warm up going. We'll be down in your area, rented a house for a couple of weeks, next month.

just a side note for monica...darn near every dang plant in central & south FL is dead from our 3 days of record cold, it's horribly depressing. tomorrow 75, next wed & thur will be back to the 80's thou! cooler next week for superbowl sunday in tampa going to be 70. enjoy our usually warm & beautiful place...~ liz

Some kind of enchiladas at a Mex Rest. in Flagstaff - including guacamole, etc.

Good. Couldn't eat it all, brought some home ... and daughter said that she guessed, that being the case, that I wouldn't have room for deep fried ice cream (we all love ice cream).

We didn't have the ice cream.

As the enchilada had meat in it, I finished it before I went to bed.

Now I'm here chewing the fat with you folks - but not having anything to do with carry-over from the dinner, though.

Free milk here ... which I'm enjoying whole-heartedly.
