Is sausage and cabbage/kraut supposed to bring good luck? That's the first I heard of it, here yesterday. We had spareribs. Will pork bring us luck, or does it have to be sausage? Beans and oven potatoes with the ribs.

Just put frozen chicken breasts on to cook for chicken and dumplings.DDIL came in and asked if I had already planned supper and I told her what I was doing.She said she had been wanting spaghetti.Sooo,spaghetti is a lot easier,cook spaghetti,open jar of sauce,I'm done.Out of the kitchen a lot faster too.LOL So I will cook the chicken and have it tomorrow.I wasn't really in the mood to make dumplings anyway!

Kathleen, I've been wondering how you've been doing, both with your surgery and the exchange students. Sure would like to hear all the news about both!
