It's last night's tuna casserole again. Good thing we like it a lot!

Um, it's a smoothie for me, LOL. I had a piece of bovine bone implanted in my upper jaw this morning. Told DH if he ever calls me a fat cow, I'll have to kill him.

Sorry if I spoiled anybody's appetite.

bbq chicken, baked potatoes, edamame for me , and green beans for hubby.

I grilled chicken til almost done. Threw it in a pan and into the oven. I made an orange sauce. When the guys get home, they can either eat just grilled chicken or orange grilled chicken. Also some brown rice and for me...hominy.

Here I go, using KT recipes.... Jae tn's Wet burritos, cole slaw, and Pixiestix's Hot milk cake. The cake will have strawberries or peaches with it. We are also having beergaritas!! (Have you ever had the latter? Pretty good.)

brie with apples sounds very good . We had a very light lunch so tonight we had deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, gravy, green peas, and tried a new "fried chicken" recipe from the Deen brothers. I was a little leary of the cornflakes for the coating, and wow was I surprised, Guess it was the seasoning, but it sure didn't taste like cornflakes. Used light mayo, egg whites, lemon juice, lemon zest, to coat the boneless chicken thighs. Three year old granddaughter came over for dinner and she loved the chicken. Oh, almost forgot, granddaughter and I made peanut butter chocolate candy. She loves chocolate , and so do I. They taste like reece cups and we ate them until we almost got sick. My plan for tomorrow is to eat light.

even thou i was vegetarian all thru my 20's i had never had an artichoke! i first had one (steamed w/ drawn butter dip) about 10 yrs ago in an italian restaurant and i loved it. i get into these stages where i eat one thing alot then get tired of it. so far this one's going on 6 months LOL but it is very healthy 60 cal. 6g fiber and i eat it w/o dipping, just plain. it's also something easy i can make, i fill a small pan w/ about 1-1.5c water and a slice of fresh lemon, bring to a boil then steam for about 45-60 min. not exact, usually when i remember it LOL. luckily we have a produce market 2 mi away and he sells nice sized artichokes for $0.69-$1.25 ea v/s publix for $3.99 often which when i can't get at the market i will get just 1 in a wk. i always eat that first and it fills me up nicely then i eat the rest of my meal. it also FORCES me to slow down, a problem i have while eating :-/ and eat each leaf then clean up the heart. i am trying trying trying to eat mostly veggies, chosing high protein healthy foods to lose weight :-) ~ liz

I think I'm going to have tilapia and onion rings. All very nutritional, I know! Oh, I have some red and yellow peppers, so that should do the trick.

poor dh! he got frozen pizza...i nibbled on the crust (minus meat) to see if it would sit ok...so far so good!

we usually are salad, veggie every night eaters, but that seem to be the last thing either of us wants for now...

maybe a good thing..go to dr on monday and hope i lost a lb or 2, lol...

Nuked a bowl of Italian Wedding Soup (homemade)and later had a peanut butter sandwich.

I had a crock pot cooking all day of Anasazi Beans and ham and a pot of cooked rice to go with it. I just stuffed myself they were so good.

Broiled salmon, sweet potatoes and asparagus. We seem to have this every Thursday ,because we go to the store that day, and the fish is fresh.

I had a pound of thick cut pork chops, some bell peppers, onions and pineapple laying around so I got my WOK out and made a huge batch of Sweet & Sour pork from scratch.
