We're staying in.

I'm making something DH loves for dinner--cheese ravioli with sausage sauce, with peppers, onions and sun-dried tomatoes. We'll have salad and garlic bread with that. And there are some leftover "Valentine" brownies from Sat. when DD came to lunch. Easy dinner, but it's a favorite.

Monthly potluck luncheon. Way too much chocolate.
I made grits and greens, and dish was empty when I left.

Another gal made onion pie and it was all gone.
Lots of salads, but the grits and greens with the onion pie were the only hot foods this time.

Pulled pork sanswiches, homemade cole slaw, and cheesecake for dessert!

Spinach noodles with four-cheese alfredo sauce, fresh red and orange little peppers (I love them!)

DS is cooking steaks on the grill (sweet potatoes baking in the oven) for his girlfriend and me! Of couse we'll have salad! Can't wait!!

We had heart-shaped meatloaf, mashed potatoes with green onions and a stir fry medley of vegetables....zucchini, red peppers, yellow peppers, mushrooms and onions and a little glass of wine. This time, I did individual hearts instead of a great big one. Turned out good. The mashed potatoes were made with fat-free buttermilk. I'm still trying to watch the diet.

My dinner was just a tuna sandwich, because I had a late lunch of a Greek gyro in a pita w/tzaziki sauce, Greek salad (feta, lettuce, cukes and a delicious dressing), fries.

If you watch "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," you might recall the restaurant: Metro 29 Diner in Arlington, Va.
Deeeelish lunch! This is the place with the bakery in the basement and makes French toast with home-baked challah (bread).

(Funny thing: There was a couple at one table who were talking about the show, and I'm pretty sure they were first-timers, and at another table was a family of 6, also first-timers because of the show!) If you ever come to the D.C. area, you've got to stop in there!

Hadn't made dinner in a few days, as I've been feeling kinda crappy. But I felt good enough today to make dinner: my mom's potato croquets, mixed veggies, chicken flavored rice in a box, and carrot cake. My mom used to make the croquets with side dishes of white rice and raw cabbage and that's the way I like it but my kids don't...so I didn't think the exchange students would either.
