ihave to share what happened last night.
i havent been sleeping well.Remember I said I woke up Tues.the day Mickey left.I had this feeling,it woke me up.It was an awful feeling in the pit of my stomach but I didnt know what it meant till I realized we couldnt find Mickey.well I got a glimpse during sleep of a dog head and chest.The dog looked like mickey.
it was glowing bright.Mickey has brown on her face.There was no brown,just bright ,bright white.What did I see was it telling me Mickey is safe in doggie heaven.?It was only a glimpse I wanted to see more but till I looked and thought mickey it was gone.I never knew you could get so attatched to a doggie.

I waas just checking too, to see if there was any kind of update! Kim..I am so sorry you are having to go through this! I'm still hoping & Praying that you find her and she's OK. I also think that He knows that animals play an important role in our lives and if the outcome of this isn't what we all wanted, I just have to believe you were "given" that dream as comfort!

just heard that oprah had to put her 2 beloved spaniels down...(month apart) and was having to make rescue plans to protect her golden retrievers at the santa barbara house, from the fires...this hasn't been a good month for dd1 either...one kitty and her spaniel...

Just wanted to know that I'm also checking this thread and hoping for good news. In the meantime, you and your little doggy are in my prayers, too.

Oh that's awful to read this. I wonder if Mickie might have got in a fox trap and been taken by the trappers. Fox trapping season is in now. Just a thought - check the vets in your area if somone brought an injured JR in. I saw the trappers going in the fields today. Hugs, Kathy

I can't help but feel that someone has found your dear doggy and is claiming it as their own. Have you advertised in the paper, the radio, the T.V and all shelters and vets etc. I just can't imagine what you are going through. We love our fur babies so very much.

Hoping for a safe return

Mickey never came home.Everytime I get up I go look out on the porch hoping ,Praying shes there only to be disappointed again..I called 2 radio stations,I called both spca"s nothing,I put ad in newspaper.
Every Christmas we would buy a large stocking full of puppy toys.We would wrap all because she was like the kids loved to open gifts.
On our birthsdays wed sing happy birthday,shed join in.It was so sweet.This was a special dog.
She even slept in our bed shed get under blanket and lay against my back to stay warm.Storing and all.I miss her terribly......

I am so sorry that you have had to go through this. I keep coming back and checking and hoping so hard that you are on here saying that your friend came home. My fingers have been crossed TIGHTLY for you, and I REALLY REALLY hope that she does find her way home still.

Whatever words I say, they can't ease what you are feeling and going through right now. I like many many other KT'ers is a huge animal lover. My thoughts are with you, and my fingers are crossed so tight, that this will be a postive, happy outcome and reunion for you and Mickey

I once lost my elderly Irish Setter for over a week. Turned out somebody took her in. People think they're doing a good thing but actually, if they had left her, she would have found her way home. Through word of mouth, I found out about it and we did get her back. I certainly hope you get Mickey back, but if not, I prefer to think she has found the warmth of a loving home. That being said, please start another thread with an update so we don't have to go through 90 posts to find out what is happening. Like many other dog lovers, I check daily to see if there's any new news.

A few years ago, my daughter's best friend got a German Shepard puppy for Christmas. Her mother was walking the puppy when the leash broke. The dog ran off toward the water (Long Island Sound). They searched for weeks, put up signs, had every kid in the school looking, but they never found it. Turned out people several blocks away took her in and raised her. The owner (my dtr's BF) found out only years later, after the dog had passed on .

My heart is breaking for you....I hope she will show up soon.

I've been really busy, but keep checking in, hoping and praying Mickey will be home soon.

I'm so sorry- I went through this back in the summer when our darling Murphy disappeared. I still can cry over her so Bulldinkie is not alone.
