Anyone but Kenley.

It's always on for hours on Wednesday. They repeat several of the older shows, then the newest one at 9. This week (9 o'clock) is the show where they work on their collections, and Tim visits to see how they're doing. Then, I believe, the finale--the fashion week show--will be next week.

Don't you just hate Kenley? She's so nasty, and so one-dimentional. But I'm glad they've kept her this long--she's definitely entertaining.

You are right, the 7:00 one is last weeks.

Have you noticed how she stands? Me thinks signs of insecurity, which she definitely is!

I just watched it here on the west coast and just about had a heart attack!! They advertised the finale for next week and when I first started reading this thread I thought I had missed it.

It should be good next week. I keep thinking about the guy (sorry I can't remember his name) who was eliminated tonight. Tim told him "get rid of the big bow in the front" and he just shrugged his shoulders and said, "oh well it's staying because it's me". The others took Tim's advice under consideration... At that point in the game I think I would have trashed the bow! He had made an entire collection to take to fashion week and all for not-how sad for him. He was an interesting designer...

I was sorry to see Jerrel go--he's definitely got some creative ideas--even if they are over the top.

I was so disappointed with Korto's wedding gown. I understood what she was trying to do, and really wanted to love her gown, but there was something about the business of it that just didn't 'grab' me.

Am a little surprised at myself, but the ONE outfit from last night's show that really impressed me, that I cannot get out of my mind's eye (sort of like an earworm--LOL) WAS Kenley's bridal gown. Wouldn't be right for everyone, but it was unusual and spectacular--simple in some ways, and elaborate in others, absolutely gorgeous silhouette, as they say. I think she finally got it right. Good for her. And I have to say, she made a real effort to be pleasant to the others--you sort of have to respect that, no matter how you feel about her, nor why she did it.

I was disappointed in Korto's gown, too. It just wasn't attractive by itself and not attractive on the poor model who wore it. I love the designers who bring their background and style to their designs but I hate it when they forget that the clothes are there to be attractive or fun. This dress just wasn't either one. But I'm glad she wasn't eliminated because I've really liked so many of her designs this season.

I felt badly for Jerrel and I loved the bridesmaids dress he made! I was shocked they had anything bad to say about it. I think what really hurt him was his level of skill. The designs were good but too often the finishing wasn't. He had lots of time to really tweak the bridal gown and it still looked a little unfinished.

Can hardly wait for next week!!! (But then I'll be sad because it's over.)

I didn't get a chance to see it last night but have the episode recorded to watch later. I've heard that Project Runway is moving to Lifetime channel and will be recorded on the west coast. It will be a lot different.

I hope it doesn't move to the west coast because that could mean the possibility of losing Tim Gunn. I just love him, he is so caring and compassionate.

I unfortunatly opened this thread before the show came on here in the West Coast and saw someone post who got eliminated. Maybe we could add a spoiler alert or something next time. I thought Leanne's wedding dress was amazing, as was the bridesmaids dress. They all make it look so effortless.

I was sorry to see Jerrel go but his dress was not up to the level of the other designers. I did not like the dress that Korto made. In fact, I thought it was down right ugly. For the first time I liked what Kenley made. But my fav from last night were the two dresses that Leanne made. Just beautiful in every way.

I saw the runway shows of all 6 of the final designers from this season on projectrungay dot com. Joe, Swade (sp?), Jerrel, Korto, Leanne & Kenley all made and showed there collections. They were all really good...check them out.

Korto has been my fav all through this season. Her pieces have looked fresh, original and have been very well made. Leanne would be my second fav. She has also made some really beautiful pieces. Next week should be a great finale.
