What's for Dinner Tonite?

We celebrated Thanksgiving Sunday, brought home a bunch of food and had leftovers last nite.

So it was tacos tonite. Still have potatoes, turnip puff, dressing, carrot salad and a bit of turkey to eat!

It was sister's night for us tonight at the Home where my special needs sister lives. I had an Arby's roast beef in my freezer, so I took that and went through the McDs drive-thru for some of their broccoli cheese soup. My niece and her daughter were in from AZ so joined us tonight. And my cousin and his wife from WV drove out to join us also. It was a little bit of a family reunion.

I played bridge today. Partner and I came in first which surprised us because we had such crummy cards. That's the good part of duplicate, though. Doesn't matter how bad the cards are it's how good you do with the bad cards. LOL Guess we held our own. I didn't get home until 5:40. Was going to make shrimp creole but am settling for chili from the freezer instead. We'll have the creole Wednesday night. Hope you feel better Jas.

Thanks, Jasdip. Harry has had the computer tied up again finishing up our taxes. I thought he'd NEVER get finished! But, they're done and sent--whew! We had last night's dinner tonight because by the time we got around to it yesterday, it was late so we just had sandwiches. I've tried a few of the Pioneer Woman's recipe and they turned out well. Her personality doesn't come over as well on TV as it does in her writing, but she's a cutie. Sounds like everyone is well-fed tonight. Enjoy your evening!!

we bought a new little bbq cooker yesterday so we are breaking it in tonight with some baby back ribs. I have some potatoes to put in the oven for oven roasted potatoes. And we have fresh tomatoes from the farm to go with it.

Amber and I did the grocery shopping today because we knew the bad weather was coming. We had our lunch at Logan's and as usual I always bring half of mine home. I had some toast and tea earlier so I will eat my southwestern barbecue chicken, coleslaw, baked sweet potato and onion petals along with the yeast roll tomorrow. Still cold and snowing here. I had a great big plate of green beans cooked with onion and bacon and a pint of milk :) No pie or cookies for me.

Salmon loaf, mashed potatoes and creamed peas. We really like this meal, but it sure stinks up the house. I just sprayed an air freshener around.

Had to run postcards to the mailing house so dinner was on the boss tonight, stopped at Chilis. I had the chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas sans the tortillas, beans and rice. Hubby had a steak w/broccoli.

We had Wine and dine tonight. Went out to a very nice restaurant. I had the seafood pasta. It was packed full of seafood. Delish. I ate about 1/3 of it, so have my dinner for tomorrow night. DH had steak Dianne. It was cooked to perfection.
