My daughter Britt, and I are going to Swiss Chalet for dinner tonight to use up a 2 for 1 coupon I have. It expires tomorrow, and we're both free this evening, so I thought it would be nice to visit and catch up with her. She just got back from snowboarding in Banff. Nice and mild here in Edmonton today!

we bought a new little bbq cooker yesterday so we are breaking it in tonight with some baby back ribs. I have some potatoes to put in the oven for oven roasted potatoes. And we have fresh tomatoes from the farm to go with it.

It was sister's night for us tonight at the Home where my special needs sister lives. I had an Arby's roast beef in my freezer, so I took that and went through the McDs drive-thru for some of their broccoli cheese soup. My niece and her daughter were in from AZ so joined us tonight. And my cousin and his wife from WV drove out to join us also. It was a little bit of a family reunion.

Prime Rib rubbed with horseradish, fresh rosemary and kosher salt. It's in at 500� right now, and after 30 minutes the oven gets set at 325. Baked potatoes are also in the oven, and we'll have green beans, also. DH wanted to cook the beef since it had been in our outside freezer for quite awhile. He was leery of serving it for Christmas dinner in case it was freezer burned. Looked alright, so I hope it tastes great too.
