I bought them. They are great for bananas. I also use them for broccoli, potatoes and lettuce. You can reuse the bags up to 8 times. The only problem is everything you put in the bags must be completely dry.

As my 4 y/o DGD told her mommy when the bananas turned brown, "Mommy, your bananas wouldn't look like that if you used the green bags!"

Yes, they work.

Yes, they do work. We sell out of them as fast as we get them in the store. Debbie also sells the bags for cheese, bread, and cold cuts. They don't sell as well as the fruit/veggie bags. Heard she has also come out with green containers now.

I have them and I didn't think they worked that great on bananas. Both DH and I thought they made the bananas taste funny.

I bought some of the Debbie Meyer green bags last fall, used them on refrigerated items like carrots and celery and they worked fine, but I also used one for salad and that didn't work too well. However, I put potatoes in one and onions in another (not refrigerated) they grew a black mold all over them and felt slimy. I won't use any more of those bags, seems they must have some type of chemical inside them.

My DS has them and likes them I'm using the Ziplock Hand vac and bags now very reasonable under $4 for the pump and on the supermarket shelves

I didn't like them for bananas. They still had green on them after several days, but the fruit inside the peel got mushy. I do like them for celery and carrots in the fridge. they seem to last some longer. Dottie

I bought them at Big Lots at a discount price. So if you want to try them out, look for them there. I wasn't impressed with them. DH didn't like what they did to the bananas either. They looked good on the outside but mushy on the inside and tasted funny. They also didn't keep the strawberries fresh in the refrigerator.
