Leah and holly robinson peete were both fired! I really don't like the show without them. The new permanent replacement is Sheryl ??, the black lady in leah's chair and the other is just guests for now. They had Molly Shannon for a while and she was really bad! I can hardly watch it now.

Boy that's hard to believe, I really liked Leah, she made the show. I don't like the show as well now either. What could they have done to be fired? Thanks for letting me know. I won't be watching it much anymore.

It was barely tolerable with Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete. Sharon Osborne can be funny, but she's not there very often.

The original premise was a show about mothers discussing children and child-rearing. Snort!! That lasted about a month before they ran out of things to talk about. Now it's a "The View" wannabe, and they pretty much just hype new CBS shows. Hardly surprising, since Julie Chen is married to the head of CBS.

So, no, I don't watch it anymore.

I heard that Holly was fired and Leah quit. I really enjoyed it when they were on. The entire panel was a refreshing change from ladies at The View. I tried watching the new season, but don't care much for Sheryl and have not been impressed with any of the fill in hosts. It certainly is not high on my viewing list anymore.

Has anyone watched The Chew? I'm still on the fence about it.

I thought they were just on a leave of absense or vacation! I only get to catch about 20 minutes while on my lunch hour. I just googled it. Leah is going to do another sitcom and Holly was not asked back?? I didn't mind either one of them.

The chew is ok; sometimes they talk way to much/fast and I turn it off. Chitter chatter gets on my nerves sometimes. ;) But I did make Carla Hall's onion rings and they are YUMMY!

What I read was that Leah was let go in July and they kept holly under contract until the day the new season started then fired her that day! I liked the chew except for the lady with glasses, I don't know her name..... The talk was a refreshing alternative to the view. But I don't care for it at all now.

Aisha Tyler was just announced as a permanent replacement for one of the fired girls, so now all the spots are filled. I don't like the show nearly as much now since Leah and Holly left. Leah was a hoot.

I tried watching The Chew twice and found it very boring. I don't think it will last. I really like Carla though.

I never watched the show "deliberately" -- I was just too lazy to pick up the remote and change the channel after the soaps were over!

I really did like Leah (still will watch reruns of "King of Queens" -- loved her in that!). Holly -- so-so.

I think there were a lot of times when Leah and Holly stole the show. Sarah Gilbert is extremely quiet. So I wonder whether Julie Chen felt threatened that there were 3 women who got more laughs and applause than she does (I'm including Sharon Osbourne in that group of 3). I believe that Sarah Gilbert is a producer of the show? Either way, with Julie Chen being married to the CBS honcho, I think it's considered HER show.

I'm not that crazy about any of the new women, whether regulars or fill-ins. The Kardashian mom? BORE-ing! The new "comedian" -- not so funny, to me. The only fill-in who makes me laugh was Susie Essman. She's the one I'd want to be sitting with at a dinner party!

On to "The Chew": Too many people, all trying to get in their comments, funny at times, the food-- well, there's nothing I've been tempted to try to make. Still love Carla Hall (from "Top Chef" -- remember that "Whoody-hoo" thing she did in the market?). But I really don't think that show is going to last. (OOPS! I was among some other posters who thought Nate Berkus's show would get pulled, too, tho-- so don't listen to me!)

I'm still taping The View, tho -- would rather hear that group (esp Joy and Whoopi) than the other groupings.
