Thank you everyone for the sweet Birthday Wishes and Greetings!

My friend Edna threw a SURPRISE Birthday party for me Sat. Several friends went in together and got me a new BUNN Coffeemake. (My old one went belly up after almost 12yrs..lol) My son gave me a Dragonfly necklace, because he knows I developed a passion for Dragonglies after his Dad died in 2008.

Still trying to get use to being 60! When did THAT happen! lol

thank you for the compliments... :) In our country Dahlias are not sold by name, but by flower color and size... let us check on internet which variety it is.. The plant is 36 inches tall and the flower is 9 inches wide. Regards, Izhar

Happy Canada Day! I had a very relaxing day just laying around the pool and puttering about in the back yard. Sat on the deck and watched the fireworks that were being set off around us. We were in Brantford Sat. evening for a celebration of Canada's Birthday so we just chilled today. Hope everyone enjoys their holiday here and south of the border on the 4th.
