Thanks for the Birthday Greetings!!

Thanks to all for the birthday greetings!
I had a very full day- phone calls, Skype calls, e-mails. cards, and flowers.

It's not over yet. My husband's 95th birthday is next Tuesday,

Tomorrow we will have dinner in the private dining room here in the Independent Living facility where we live. Both families will be here.

Many of you know that we were married in 2008 after 57 years of marriage for me and 55 for him. We were betting on 3 years but reached 5 last January.

If my picture uploads it shows us 2 years ago.I think we don't look much different now, except for a few more wrinkles.

If it was Grace Seward by any chance, you will be very pleased with that one. It looks like doves in flight. I spent hours looking at all of your pics initially, I believe I have a couple of roses in my garden thanks to you too:) I'll tell you what I did Kate, even though the minis might look dead, don't give up on them, keep watering them along with the others in your spring, as own root roses, they can come back from the canes and the roots. They're pretty tough roses, so don't pull them out too early and give them up as dead too soon. I know this from experience and can show you from pics. Wow very impressive picture! I know a lot of 91 year Olds, my mom, my mother in law, and 3 of my friends in the garden club! I am honored.

Thanks for the great photo of the two of you.

You are both much younger looking than your age. I live in an Independent Retired Community also. We have several residents here who are 90 and over. One of the ladies recently celebrated her 100th birthday and one gentleman will be 100 soon. And I can't believe I will be 90 next June.

Happy Birthday to your hubby next Tuesday.

I hope my DH and I look that good on our 91st and 94th...he is 3 years older than me and our birthdays are 5 days apart...we've got 22 years to go....
