AWWWWwwwww..........thank you so much!! I am doing crafty stuff, mosaics and making coffee filter roses:) Got a twin sister,so I decorated her gift with roses:)

OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Thank you all, my dear, dear friends. Yesterday we had one of those days here at our house -- no water for 36 hours, Freya sneaking a pizza off the kitchen counter, and the smell of fresh polyurethane pervading the cold, damp house.... On the other hand, I had the loving affection of Tom and my DS Jacob, calls and cards from family, and greetings from all of you. And tonight we're going out to dinner to try celebrate again. Carla, Luanne, Jon, Anita, Lori, Ingrid, Sue, Carolina, Pamela, and Carol -- each one of your messages brought smiles and memories to my mind. I just realized that with the exception of Ingrid, I know each one of you in the Real World (as opposed to online) -- Ingrid, we'll just have to correct that soon. Thanks for the birthday wishes! This is the 5-0 birthday for me and it's just hard for me to believe it! After yesterday though, I'm FEELING it! LOL The house my boys lived in when they were in college is going on the market today so I was over there painting the kitchen cabinets and staging the bathrooms (cleaned them spic-n-span first). Oh my, I have soreness in places I didn't even know I had places! It probably didn't help that I came home and practically guzzled a bottle of wine while in the hot tub! So I guess 49 went out with a bang and 50 is coming in with a whimper. :-)

Belated Happy Birthday!
I was hoping to find you again - I have been trying for weeks to get to your post on 4/24/07 regarding the greenhouse table with the window a-frame. I want to build my father a raised table/bed so he can grow some herbs on his patio. How can I connect to your post so I can print the picture of your table? Every time I click on it, it says "whoops" can't find the posting. Help!

hi! just noticed more to this post! lol... I'll add the pic of my litte greenhouse. And thanks again everyone for the warm wishes:)I plan on mosaicing this,and adding some pretty pieces of a broken chair. These two windows came out of the old railroad depot where I live,someone converted it to a home. We got down in the 'teens weather wise,and my plants on the porch all froze*sigh* I should say my DH built this, he used small L-brackets to connect the two windows. Then measured the bottom to see how big to make the "table" part. It's just a box made of old plywood, I used watered down paint to make it look old,cheap school glue for crackle,and some spindles I bought at a yard sale for legs. And he used hinges to attach the windows to the table for an adjustable fit. I love it! You could buy an end table at a yard sale or thrift store,and add wooden sides,then the windows.

I love your little greenhouse! I don't know how I missed it! I know I was lurking back then, but I can't believe I didn't see this! You make it sound easy to make...would you mind if I copy off of you?
