What's for Dinner ... Tuesday?

Tonight's meal is the easy way out for me... Stouffer's meatloaf entree, and heated up succotash.

What's on your main meal menu today?

I won't be back to comment as I had my eyes dilated this morning. It usually takes a whole night to sleep off the drops.

Pork steaks on the grill, extra cheesey Au Gratin potatoes with bacon and onions, brocolli.

I'm having my eyes tested on Friday and they're going to do a deep-checking, behind the eye-ball or something more detailed. This is an extra $60. Were you okay to drive home Shirley? I know some tests they tell you to have a driver, I don't know if this is one or not. I'll wear sunglasses for sure. Supposed to be a humid, cloudy day on Friday anyway.

We had hamburgers and I stuffed 2 tomatoes with rice and leftover veggies and cooked them on the little indoor grill (outside on the balcony) as well, in an aluminum pie plate. They were terrific!

Raven: I thought I smelled Italian cooking coming up from the south. Sure enough that delicious smell was coming from your house. Kathsgrdn: That must have been one big meal. Aren't leftovers wonderful? Sue: Cook once, eat twice (or more). It's great not just for not having to cook again but financially. Casey: I like baked chicken. I've never tried roasting vegetables. Care to tell me how you do it? Jasdip: What a delicious looking photo! And you made roasted vegetables too. Angela: I can fully visualize one of those kabobs on a plate/platter in front of me. We had an unplanned dinner guest. My daughter's first husband had taken their son swimming, and got back here just as dinner was coming out of the oven. The kitchen smelled so good--I could tell he noticed, so I invited him to stay. We all shared a pleasant meal--my daughter, her husband, her ex, and their son. I'm so happy for grandson's sake that everyone gets along.

Since today was my golf day and I cannot play golf, we went to the movies this afternoon and had a late lunch early dinner at Bonefish. DH had fish and chips and I had their ahi tuna sashimi appetizer. Now I'm off to play bridge.

I hope you got along fine today Shirley. Lunch was vegetable soup, some yeast rolls with butter and a piece of the neighbor lady's zucchini bread. My supper was a quick fish sandwich and a root beer, it tasted pretty good. I am tired, three year old can wear you out, :)

Had my cataract surgery this morning and my eyesight sure is wacky. One eye post-op still blurry and hazy and my usual nearsighted vision in the other, lol.

Supper was MacDonald's! I had their SWest salad and Robert had a side salad and a fish sandwich.

Lotsa veggies: okra, tomatoes, onion, shallot, garlic, corn, long beans, shishito peppers, orange carrots and white carrots, all with a locally made sausage and served over brown rice. My doc would really appreciate that.

Jasdip: No, I don't drive myself when being dilated. I get public transit to drive me all the time anymore for out of town dr visits. You can call ahead to see if your eyes will be dilated. Might want to get someone to drive you this time to see how you react. I'm very sensitive to the drops.

Rhizo: I'll be questioning you when I have mine done. So keep notes please. lol
