Just be SURE you have someone proofread it before you make signs or have printing done and ask to see the proofs before anything is printed. The Georgia Master Gardeners once ordered 500 tee shirts that came back silk screened as "Master Gardners" We spelled it right but they didn't follow copy.

Sometimes I wish I was good with a sewing machine because it seems like making your own clothes is the only way to find what you like and the quality you want. That will never happen though, I haven't the time or inclination for it. I've tried many times to learn to sew but it just isn't my thing, sadly. I agree with Eileen, I loathe clothes shopping for the very reason that it is so dang hard to find something that fits well, is well made and is reasonably priced. I don't want to buy cheap clothes but the expensive items are often little better in terms of fit and quality. Underwear is absolutely the worst shopping experience, which is probably why both BF and I put it off! BF and I tried to go shopping for clothes after Christmas, and after spending most of the day and trying on dozens of things, I came home with one shirt, and what I had been looking for was pants, skirts and shoes! I perused the underwear a bit, good cotton stuff is getting almost impossible to find. Well, that's on the female side, don't know about the male side but I suspect it is similar. My favorite "ugh" thing are the shirts that you pay extra for that are made of flimsy fabric and made to look worn out! We both got a laugh out of those, they sell them for both sexes! We even saw some of those kinds of things in a high end baby clothing store. You never can tell what some people will buy.

What bugged some was that there was a big spread on the front pages of some national newspapers over the men's hockey semi-final ... no, make that the *quarter*-final at the same time that the women's won gold. And the women's story was relegated to something like page 4 ... with small pictures. Add to that, that one of the women's sports, with which the one on the men's side they make a great fuss ... cross-country skiing? Sorry, I don't remember which, they refused to let the women's sport participate at all. There was talk of taking VANOC to the Human Rights Commission, but it was the international Olympic body that decided, so there was no jurisdiction. But many felt that their decision stunk. Also ... there's talk of cutting out women's hockey: not a wide enough field for good competition!! They claim. Yuck!! ole joyful

When my son was in kindergarten, just before spring break, he and his little buddies (4 altogether) were at our house after school. When the others went home, we were talking about what my son would be doing over spring break. I asked what the others are doing, and he said "I dunno". He's nearly 30 now and nothing has changed :-)
