Willow is so beautiful!! saltidawg, just a note that after years of living in big kennels with lots of handlers and greys around, greyhounds can get lonely by themselves in a room. If she's still minding the crate you could try putting a radio in with her, putting the TV on or putting her in with you at night :) I used to volunteer for a grey rescue up here in Nova Scotia. Here's a picture of my parents' two greyhounds Frank and Molly. Molly has since passed away. Grey hounds are like pringles, it's hard to stop at just one! Speaking of elderly female drivers, I had to really chuckle the other day. Lately the temps here have dropped into the 20s and down even below zero (F) with a bit of wind that has felt unusually cold to this ornery curmudgeon. But the sun has been out which sometimes helps and one afternoon returning from work I was stiff and store and looking forward to my recliner and a lapful of warm cat. As I approached a stop sign there was a car sitting to the right stopped at the 4 way stop. I waited, since she had the right of way and waited and waited. Then just about gave up on "Minnesota Nice" and started to go. Well the elderly lady decided to go. Fine. Maybe she was distracted at the sign. Whatever. But as she slowly crossed in front of me I noticed her coat was lifted up a bit so the front was covering up her face to at least the nose. Bashful perhaps? Hiding from the law? I couldn't refrain from laughing. Not only could she hardly see over the steering wheel, she could hardly see over her blue down-looking coat! I guess you hadda be there. And I really do have to know, is there a retirement requirement to drive a Buick???
