Yes I do have SVB, and I DO know what the eggs look like. Sometimes they do lay a whole bunch near one spot, and they are pinkish eggs. I have been through this scenario many many times, even having witnessed the moth squeezing out the eggs onto my plant in past seasons, so I am not confused about what squash bug eggs versus SVB eggs look like. I can now see small holes in parts of the stem (which I am also used to) where larvae must have entered due to eggs I missed with my tape or just plain did not see in time. Believe me, the heat is on. And Gumby, how the heck are you? Hope you are doing well. As far as I have ever paid attention, the 4th is just the beginning of the SVB. That booger won't blow outta here until month's end. But my new young "saver" squashes look lovely and I am holding them until then as replacements. How's the "volunteer" tomato garden?

One drawback of the Paypal cart is that your customers have to sign up for Paypal to use it, and that can make them either confused (so they give up and don't buy) or annoyed with you. I have used it for some years on my Lego kit sale site and I've experienced those problems. Accepting credit cards directly will cost you a setup charge, probably a monthly fee, and a percentage of each sale. You might have a lot of trouble getting this going at all because of your age. This is quite separate from the shopping cart, which will also cost you. I highly recommend doing a budget comparing your expected sales and income to expected costs before you commit yourself to ongoing costs like web hosting and credit card acceptance. Do it for optimistic, pessimistic and middle-ground expected sales. Also make sure you know *when* the money will go in and out - most new businesses have a startup period where there is more money going out than coming in, and you have to know what to expect and have the money available to keep going until you reach profitability. You might find selling via eBay a good way of starting (I don't know if eBay allows live plant sales). At least then you don't have any big commitments to start with and you can bail out if necessary without losing too much money. How are you going to restrict web site sales to US customers? Yeah Angie it really depends on the aggressiveness of the birds. Last year the blues and TRES would fight here and there. The blues would land on the TRES's box and they would come after them but the blues refused to budge. Even after multiple dives the blues just wouldn't budge! They used it as a perch mainly. But when the swallows landed on the blues box....look out! I recall the Male and Female each pinning the swallows to the ground a time or two. The male would frequently chaise them if they got anywhere close. This year they perch on each other's boxes but usually split up when together. If the swarm of the swallows comes in the blues leave. But the swallow pair next to the blues perches on their box and if they see another swallow land on the blues box they chaise them down and flutter. Same with the blues! Another Male bluebird (His call sounded like a fledgling from last year, maybe it is? Can anyone answer this) showed up today and the primary male chaised the other male high in the sky and ran it off. These two species are so alike aren't they?! But why is there a swarm of swallows at my boxes and only 3 bluebirds? They face the exact same problems but yet the poor bluebirds are always out-numbered! Mr. Blue was perching on, entering, and singing on the box. He'd then perch nearby and when the female landed on the box he was wing waving like crazy! But she landed on the front and landed on the top frequently. I hope they start building soon! Just not laying! Worried about cooler temps. 47 tomorrow and then 50's and 60's the rest of the week.

What cabinet line did you buy? I've been the Kitchen and Bath Industry for over 25 years.Most manufacturers will try to help you in a situation like this. You might try calling them and asking for the name of the local rep. Then contact him and explain that you are concerned about this situation and just want confirmation that the order was actually placed and is not on credit hold or never placed. Never pay in full for your cabinets up front with a small company. No cabinet manufacturer that I'm aware of would require any payment from a dealer in good standing until cabinet delivery. I don't want to scare you more but your dealer may have used your money to get someone else's cabinets off the truck and be waiting to close another sale to get the money to pay for your cabinets. And of course there are plenty of other places for the money to go too. If the rep can't help you, ask for the president of the cabinet company and don't give up until you get some kind of confirmation of where your order is. This sounds like a risky situation and the sooner you know the true status of your order you can act to get the dealer to resolve this. You could also go to the Kitchenpros.com website and post this problem with the name of the manufacturer and the area of the country you live in and probably find someone who could hook you up with the right person to talk to at the factory. Stuff like this gives our whole industry a black eye. Sorry not to be more positive but I've seen too many situations like this over the years. I hope it turns out well for you.
