That's very interesting to hear Dorothy! I'm glad it helped both you and your daughter. I might have to check that out. I usually use Bengay Ultra. Though I like the scent, not everyone around me does. Thanks for the heads up on a good product.

Blue-Emu has no scent which I appreciate.
Arnica helps a little for some things but the Blue-Emu is the best I've found so far. It's called Arnlicare at Wal-mart

I take it you live on Oahu? So does our daughter and her family. We're heading there sometime before the end of the year.

Years ago we saw an infomercial about something called Super Blue Stuff. At the time my husband was having a really hard time with pain in his back. We had tried a lot of different things that didn't work. We ordered it and my husband has used it ever since. We were in the process of getting ready to list our then home and our realtor was complaining about muscle pain so we gave him a sample. It worked so well on him that he had his wife try it for the arthritis in her ankles and feet and he said it worked great. We've also given little samples to other friends that have said it works really well for them.

That said, it doesn't work for me at all. I have arthritis throughout my body and fibro on top of that.

Super Blue Stuff is pricey so I think that I'm going to check the Blue Emu out and see if it works as well on my husband. My VDH has had two back surgeries and it doesn't look as if they can do any more. So anything that helps to bring him some relief is always a plus in my book.

I'd love to try it, but all the Blue-Emu products seem to contain MSM, which makes my pain worse for some reason.

So far the cream that has helped me the most is Topricin.

Shirley, I haven't tried Blue-Emu because I read MSM on the label. I got the reaction when taking MSM orally. My joints and muscles were on fire.

I had no clue what MSM was so I Googled it and found this info on Mayo Clinic website.

People on fibromyalgia message boards generally rave about MSM, and it's added to many arthritis-related supplements, including lots of glucosamine brands. But for some reason it has the opposite effect on me. I'm not really surprised.....one more weird reaction.

I'm surprised ypu have a reaction to MSM. That's too bad. I usually take it when my knee is bad but maybe I won't have to now with the Blue-Emu. We'll see when the weather gets bad during the winter..

While I was at the Doctor today my DD went to Walgreens and she found some jars of Blue-Emu on sale that didn't have MSM. Old stock I guess.

Interesting about the MSM. I have tried glucosamine and chondroitin a few times and always give up because I don't feel well. Now I know why.
