That's a pretty tolerant kitty. Puppies teeth on those tender ears...owie!

But, I think, what made the cat tolerant was the puppy wagging that cute little tail all the time.

I find that there seems to be a "rule" with adult animals that the behaviour of baby animals and humans is tolerated until they reach a certain age. Our elderly cat put up with a lot of pestering from our baby DD without reacting other than to walk away. I have also seen adult dogs allow puppies to eat their food, chew their ears and so on without snapping as they would at an older animal.
