During my bout with cancer, I was always crawling in an out of bed so I started wearing PJ bottoms and T shirts every day...I bought some PJ pants and made myself some too and now that is all I wear around the house......they are so comfy and if I feel bad, I just crawl in my bed without any thoughts about what I'm wearing. ...It's an everyday thing with me though not just because I'm at home, but because I need to be comfortable......Oh and crocs too...the ones I have on at the moment at pink.....

I'm generally barefoot (very bad for plantar fasciitis)...old shorts and an old top. in summer....old jeans and old top in winter.

I know this is NOT going to sound like a BIG deal....but.... I wear a sports bra instead of a shirt.

I answered the door in a sports bra & shorts, mid winter,I was working out in the weight room, thought the guy was gonna run away....he looked at me like I was naked....weird!

nicole...thats too funny ! Most of the customers I see at our local Walmart have on less than that !

ruthieg....I have found a great, inexpensive type of Croc at Sloggers on line, and thats all I wear these days. I have found( at least for me) they fit me better and they are only around $20

It was so hot here last week I put on some old shorts and a tube top! Hubby laughed like heck. I NEVER wear shorts.
Otherwise I love ripping off my bra and putting on my comfy track-jogging pants and a t-shirt after dinner and hunker down.

I never wear a bra at home. Most of the summer I wear zip up cotton shifts around the house. If I am going out to do errands, I change into long shorts, bra & tee shirt and flip flops.

Like Ruthie when i went thru my bout with cancer all i wore around the house was those sleeveless ,snap down the fron gowns/dusters from wal mart.Couldn't lift my arm over my head,and had those drains(udders) in so had to get something quick and easy to get in and out of.I still wear them all the time.

I also have some sleveless cotton nitegowns i made and i even put pockets in them so they look more like a dress,and i wear those as well.I get hot all the time,so need something cool and loose,even wear them to work in the gardens.And having said all that,i still look better than some folks i see at wal mart and other stores.LOL,LOL

Dare I say it? Moomoos, or is it muumuus? Anyway they are by far the most comfortable thing I wear and not easy to find except in loud colors. I have two in soft colors and I hope I can find some more before these bite the dust.

I have a sleeveless t-shirt that says on the front I ONLY WEAR THIS WHEN I DON'T CARE.

I found it at a GS. Wish I had more than one. When it is this hot I may wear shorts, which is rare for me. It is so right - I don't care.

Crop pants and sandals with socks. It's not a good look.

I always wear what I want...and I will wear it out even...I am learning I really don't care what others think...if it is not obscene...and I am comfortable I wear it! STacy

Around the house:
In hot weather I wear cropped pants and sleevless shirts with my Bass leather thongs. I'm on my third pair in close to thirty years. I love them and can't imagine a summer without them.
In warm weather I wear jeans a T-shirt and either my above mentioned thongs or croc type shoes with cuffless socks.
In cold weather I wear fleece or that new fluffy fleece pants a long sleeved knit top and Isotoner or Dearfoam rubber soled slippers.
If I'm working on furniture I've old versions of most of the above.
Most of what I wear at home can be worn if I need to run to the store. I'll put on some blush if I'm heading out.
The only time I don't wear socks is with my thongs. I always wear a bra. Gotta keep the girls from falling any further than breast feeding and gravity has already pushed them.

In the summer I wear sweats,yoga pants or cut off sweats and a t-shirt around the house. Flip flops and no bra. In a heat wave (mid 90s or higher) I wear some long knit shorts. By late evening I often add a loose sweatshirt. Anything in the 70's is cold to me.

In the winter is when I really look strange. (mild California winters where it doesn't snow) I wear sweats,a thermal top, sweatshirt, and furry boot style slippers with rubber soles. Sometimes I add socks. I sometimes wear a ski cap and those little magic stretch gloves gloves indoors. No bra.

Nothing matches and some of my indoor clothes are threadbare. I have t shirts that are transparent because they are the most comfy for sleeping in.

I rarely wear outside clothes indoors. When I go out it's t-shirts (with bra) and jeans and sandals in summer. It's LS tees or sweatshirts with bra and jeans with boots in the winter. Sometimes with thermals underneath. I keep two sizes of jeans. Those to be worn with skins and those to be warn without. Since I don't do fashion I can be dressed and out the door in less than 10 minutes. Twenty minutes if I do hair and make=up.

I have an assortment of jackets from lightweight windbreakers to something you might wear in the snow country.

I like to feel good about what I'm wearing, even when no one else can see me. By no means do I get 'dolled' up but I am weird about what I feel good in and what I don't. I have plenty of ripped and worn clothing that I wear around the house but I happen to like the fit of those clothes so I keep wearing them. I don't like wearing stained clothes around the house, but it can be full of holes and I don't care. Go figure. Oh, and I hate when my clothes don't match, even if I'm just cleaning in them. And I wear shorts around the house but that's it. Well, I have some long shorts I'll workout in at the gym if all of my workout capris are dirty.

Paula, you sound a lot like me in wanting things to match. Even my work clothes match. They may be covered with wood stain and paint (something you'd probably hate) but they match! LOL

I wear yoga pants and old T's.

When i was pregnant, i wore mens boxer shorts as pajama bottoms and around the house. I saved a lot not buying maternity bottoms. Oh, and they were bought new, DH likes boxers.
