Alana, Sounds like the temps I would be hoping for, do you wrap them individually in newspaper? Tally, When you ignore them will you just water them once when initially planted or will you water them on a regular basis even if it takes several months for them to come back to life? Or, will you just let natural rain be their water? I never know what to do when I get any new bulb, I just pot them up, water them, let them dry out for a week or so and them give a little water every week or so until they start growing! Most of the time it works, but now and then I'll get some rot started on one! Of course, when working with older bulbs, I usually unpot them late fall, store them in a60 degree room for anywhere from 2 to 4 months, they usually let me know when they are ready. I'm probably over thinking this scenario and making a problem where there isn't one?? What are the rest of you going to do?? Donna

Poochella, This $3.00 charge sounds like a scam. Ebay has no way of getting your credit card number unless you give it to them. Neither does anyone else...UNLESS someone put spyware on your computer. I would invest in an anti-virus program to check for that ASAP. Also, if you have some kind of auto-fill program that remembers your personal information, like Gator, get rid of it by going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. It's not safe to have ANY program remembering your personal information, even IE. Go into IE's preferences and disable AutoFill. Good luck. I would call your credit card company and have them check to see if that charge really came from Ebay. I doubt it did. There are hundreds of scammers that mirror Ebay and other sites, in the hope that you will stumble onto their site through a fake email or a web search. Don't trust ANY site unless YOU typed it into your browser. Links can be disguised and are not to be trusted. Contact Ebay too. If they charged you, they will be able to tell you, and if they didn't they will want to know that someone is scamming you in their name. Christine

I'm going with aussie mix (or any shepherd/collie mix) as well. The docked tail is a sign, as well as the high set ears that stand out. Also, the intelligence you describe totally points to aussie - one of the smartest breeds around. (My own aussie is shaved, and his ears totally look like your dog's). The "face-splitting" grin is a big aussie give-away. See if he has one of those :)

Thanks everybody for your kind words. We actually had people over this weekend SWIMMING. That said, we're still a landscape/construction zone. I'll put some pictures up of where we're at. marta p: Yes, we found a jump rock. It's perfect and will, hopefully, look amazing once properly landscaped. womanowned: VERY long process. However, I'm in Michigan so it's not quite fair of me to count Nov - March. Then in May, our Great Lake State had a record amount of rain which stalled us further. We're on clay so even when the rain stopped, the trenches needed to be pumped out, etc. I was patient because at the time my build was stalled, the rest of the country was experiencing devasting floods and tornados. Whenever I started to whine, I realized that my problems were small in the grand scheme of things. (I didn't necessarily share those feelings with the pool builder, though ;-) Once he got rolling, he rolled. Now we're trying to tie up landscaping.
