I'm glad you are home now Judy. I must have missed the post about you being in the hospital. Sorry to hear about the lack of care there. I was standing by your bed, but believe me, I had worse than bedhair!!!!

Those things terrify me. And like Jemdandy, I'm worried that you (or your homeowner's) is going to end up being financially responsible for the bill. A lot of health insurance plans just don't pay when the injury is the result of an accident where someone else can be held at fault. You might want to have a chat with your agent, just to see what your responsibilities migh be in this case. Sorry to mention that, but better to be prepared than not. Good luck to you both.

Sound like what happened to my DH a couple years ago. They called it a gut infection but had no idea where it came from. He spent 2 months in a rest home with 24 hr iv's.It was what they had to do-Several people seem to be getting something like that, but they seem to know a little more about treating it now. He did have some side effects from the very strong consistant anti-biotic-but is almost back to normal now. Good Luck. It is scary

I saw this and went back to read the first one. Made me hurt just to read about it. Glad you all were able to get him to ER quickly. Those chain saws are so scary. Wishing him a good recovery. Sue
