Even better is a completely touch-free way to turn any faucet on/off. Check out the TapMaster...it's a foot pedal (or knee-touch) that turns water on/off w/o having to touch anything at all...not even a button or the stem of a faucet. I haven't heard of the faucet w/a button, but it does seem to me that if it's a button your wrist would not work...unless the button sticks out and is not one that's recessed. I think the Delta Pilar is one that you just have to touch the stem, no particular button to hit...which seems better than having to touch a button...you would have a wider target area. My recommendation as to usefulness (and aesthetics): #1...TapMaster (or similar) - added advantage: it works for any faucet, you're not limited to the style/finish of a particular faucet. #2...Delta Pilar-type #3...button Here is a link that might be useful: Tapmaster®

Hi Cal Quail. I much preferred the Tapmaster to a touch faucet because you can use a Tapmaster with ANY faucet you choose. Personally, I didn't like the appearance of any of the "touch"/touchless faucets. The foot pedal can be used by my little shorties who can just get their hands under the water but aren't tall enough to reach the faucet handle. My Tapmaster is on my prep sink, but I wish I had one on my giant silgranit super single cleanup sink as well. I am still thinking about asking DH for one (along with him installing it) as a Christmas gift one year. They can indeed be installed in existing cabinetry. I would put the one on my cleanup sink to the right of center, just like my prep sink placement. I can't tell you how often I've stood at that sink, hands under faucet, kicking my right foot around wondering why the water isn't flowing. I feel silly when I do it. Using the Tapmaster becomes second nature in the kitchen. The placement of right-of-center makes ergonomic sense. I, and I assume everyone else, approaches the sink faucet straight on the majority of the time. This makes your right foot (assuming you are right-footed) perfectly placed for manipulating the stick. If the stick was centered, you'd always have to approach the sink slightly off-center to line up your foot correctly to the stick. BUT....then YOU wouldn't be directly in front of the faucet. Anyway, I am really happy I splurged on the Tapmaster. It was a lot of money, which made me hesitate. Great purchase.

OK, I called a plumbing showroom that has Grohe and they went and checked, and ALL sprayheads are plastic. I called Delta Brizo and they checked and said the inside of the sprayhead is plastic but it is wrapped in metal, so the part you see and touch is metal, not plastic on their sprayhead. They said it is to keep the weight down. I then called Newport Brass Tech support who told me the sprayhead on the 94P is solid brass with a chrome finish or other finish depending on what you order, and the only plastic on the sprayhead is the face where the water comes out. Although I like the less "bulky" look of the Newport Brass and it is supposed to be a very good solid brass brand of faucets, it has the worst warantee it seems on its finishes, and excludes hard water damage, which I have. It is the only solid metal spray head. I guess between the Grohe and the Brizo, depends on where you want your plastic, inside or outside. I suspect, but don't know, that Grohe probably has the best warantee and customer support. I am also concerned about the reach so that it is easy to use, but also which might cause less splashing. I would think a longer reach would be better on the back, but with the drain at the back, a shorter reach would more likely place the spout directly over the drain and maybe decrease splashing. That is why I am interested in anyone who has any of these, but it would be especially helpful if anyone has this sink with one one these particular faucets. Sue
