I paired my Orca with the Brizo Venuto, which I believe in terms of specs in quite similar to the Floriano. You press a button to switch to spray mode and it stays in that mode until the faucet is turned off. The Orca is a wonderful sink. I don't think I've ever heard of someone with an Orca who does not like it. Here's an in-use pic of my setup showing how I can use the shelf grids to drip dry my dishes.

I am also considering the Grohe Bridgeford and the Newport Brass. From what I can tell from the Grohe website, it looks like the button has to be held continuously for the spray. The Grohe also has a plastic spray head. I think all the pulldowns do. I can't tell *anything* from the Newport Brass website. I looked at these, and the Vinnata at my local snooty plumbing showroom, and they all seemed of similar quality. Of course, at this showroom, they won't answer your questions unless you've made an appointment, which are 2 weeks out. Since I change my mind daily, and will probably order the fixtures online, I haven't done that. I hope you get some answers to these questions.

OK, I called a plumbing showroom that has Grohe and they went and checked, and ALL sprayheads are plastic. I called Delta Brizo and they checked and said the inside of the sprayhead is plastic but it is wrapped in metal, so the part you see and touch is metal, not plastic on their sprayhead. They said it is to keep the weight down. I then called Newport Brass Tech support who told me the sprayhead on the 94P is solid brass with a chrome finish or other finish depending on what you order, and the only plastic on the sprayhead is the face where the water comes out.

Although I like the less "bulky" look of the Newport Brass and it is supposed to be a very good solid brass brand of faucets, it has the worst warantee it seems on its finishes, and excludes hard water damage, which I have. It is the only solid metal spray head. I guess between the Grohe and the Brizo, depends on where you want your plastic, inside or outside.

I suspect, but don't know, that Grohe probably has the best warantee and customer support.

I am also concerned about the reach so that it is easy to use, but also which might cause less splashing. I would think a longer reach would be better on the back, but with the drain at the back, a shorter reach would more likely place the spout directly over the drain and maybe decrease splashing. That is why I am interested in anyone who has any of these, but it would be especially helpful if anyone has this sink with one one these particular faucets.

jshore, I forgot, I asked and the Showroom thinks the Bridgeford does have a spray button where you have to hold it continuously to keep it on spray and it reverts to non spray as soon as you let go.

Wow, Sue, that;s a lot of useful information! I am having such a tough time with the sink/faucet decision, I even had a dream about it last night. I really need to get them ordered, but can't make up my mind. I did a kitchen before, and certainly it wasn't this complicated. I think there was less to choose from, and I didn't have as much information at hand.

I know someone here has a Bridgeford, but I don't think it was paired with the Orca. Wish I could remember who it was.

i have the grohe bridgeford and i loooove it. It does, as they do, have the plastic on the outside at the sprayhead but it is oh so "solid and well made" feeling. I have it with a silgranit 1 3/4 sink and the reach is perfect. Yes, you do have to hold continuously for spray but I have not found it to be bothersome at all. Can't beat the warranty. good luck

We don't have an orca, but we do have both the regular and prep sized Floriano faucets and couldn't be happier. They look great and function beautifully.
