BM Revere Pewter
Comments (24)No decision yet, although I'm thinking of giving up the fight for Bennington Gray. I was originally thinking that if we ever paint the rest of the open floor-plan house, we'd choose a taupe like Bennington Gray or lighter. And I'd want the other room colors to flow. But maybe it doesn't matter that a tiny bathroom's walls don't match the rest of the house. That being said, Revere Pewter does look nice next to the painting we picked out, especially with brushed nickel fixtures in the room too. I know testing it out on a wall would be the best option, but for some reason, we just end up agonizing over tiny paint chips to make the final decision! I'll have to post a photo when we're done. P.S. I don't mind the hijacking. ;)...See MoreBM Revere Pewter - darker accent match?
Comments (7)You know, if you work with Aura colors, the initial PR on them was that they share a particular tone (iirc it's something about the kind of colorant, but someone like funcolors would know more about that) which coordinates them such that they'll all work with each other, supposedly. The game was to pick any three colors from the deck and you'd be able to make a look with them. That's why they were called "Affinity" colors. You might want to look for tones you like in that set of colors and know that they're 'scientifically' designed to be able to play well together. Hope this maybe helps you become less dazed and confused......See MoreWill BM Revere Pewter Walls work with these bookcases?

Comments (23)I see brown/green undertones in Revere Pewter; I see gray/brown undertones in Light Pewter Revere Pewter is a beautiful wall color. However, like any paint color, it will be affected by natural light. I have it in my living room/dining, which get east, north and south light and it Is perfect thought the day. You have very little natural light in the basement room, so going light isn’t always the answer. If you have a dark room where you need to have lights on all the time, do something deeper which works with the lighting you have. My experience is darker makes a space look bigger because the corner shadows aren’t as obvious....See MoreRelated Professionals
