Sort of dumb, sort of OT question: cereal bowls

Our current cereal bowls are scratched and chipped. I'm ready to toss them. What I noticed looking around in stores recently is that in keeping with the American need to supersize everything, most bowls labeled as cereal bowls are so large that a regular portion of cereal ( a cup or so) would be dwarfed inside. The plates we use tend to be the European ones that come in smaller sizes. We have found that to also help with weight control.

Anyway, it's hard looking online to judge how big some of these bowls really are. Ounce measurements are often inconsistent from site to site.

So this is a long-winded way of asking... Does anyone have pretty, not-huge cereal bowls they really like?
