I got my computer back yesterday from the computer shop. When I got it home it crashed. Everything was wrong- I posted 3 times to this forum- or at least tried to- nothing would show up. I thought maybe it was because a moderator had to look at the posting content first, but after an hour my post still wasn't there. I just got off the phone with the tech- something happened between IE7 and IE8- he reinstalled and fixed it-hopefully- by being online with me. Hope everything is smooth now. It was a weird nite- besides computer crashing- the cell phone would not let a call go through- everything was 'ok', but attempted calls would say 'call failed'. My cell phone is my only phone, and is with me all the time because of bad asthma attacks- it was scary because I would have had no way to call 911- I live very rural and there wouldn't be neighbors to get to if I had needed EMS. Phone started working about 4am again- it is Alltel.

Good point rmkitchen (old buddy) but there seem to be those that you just KNOW are spam somehow. They are so overly zealous about their product and don't seem to have any input on the subject OTHER than linking to a site. And some will even start a thread about a product they are trying to sell. The people who are genuinely first time posters most often have questions to ask before linking to some site, such as, "are these good quality" or "are these worth the $$" or something along those lines. But I have noticed that usually the first time poster who only says something along the lines of, "this is SUCH a great product..." or, "solve all your kitchen issues and shop here for blah blah blah..." are the ones you never see again. I would personally hate to think that I had scared off a new poster who truly had questions to ask, that's not what this forum is about. I will admit to having posted a picture of Spam on one thread I was sure had been posted by a spammer. But you know, it's not even that the true spammer post here, it's more about they way they do it. They seem to try and make you believe they are really people interested in this forum. If they had a more honest approach to it, I'd be more willing to accept their

I dont experience any problems. But ive only been here since april and never read anything else then the Roses forum. Always access it thru houzz.com, then going to my notifications. Otherwise i wouldnt find the Roses forum. Someone mentioned gardenweb.com, and im just exploring that page. At least on my computer, i see heaps and heaps of subforums on the left side, in alphabetical order. Edit: gardenweb.com was very convinient but every time i Went to a subforum, for exemple Dahlia subforum, i was redirected to houzz.com without all the subforums visible in alphabetical order.
