How do I post a picture from Photo bucket?
Comments (10)Once your picture has been uploaded to photobucket (or whatever hosting site you choose), find its web address by right clicking on the image and copying the image location. Some sites may even provide the address in a text box below the photo for your convenience. Let's say, as an example, that the address of the picture you want to post is http://somepicturesite.com/yourpicture.jpg To embed the picture into a post, use the command img src="http://somepicturesite.com/yourpicture.jpg"> You could also include a width attribute for large pictures. Using this reduce the size of an oversized picture for better viewing. The entire command, including the width attribute would looks something like img src="http://somepicturesite.com/yourpicture.jpg" width=400> Note that I had to use special characters to get the commands above to show up here without turning into pictures, but you can use them as shown (with the correct image location, of course)....See MoreHow do you post photo links in our plant exchange list?
Comments (7)Karen, You'll first need to open a free Photobucket account. This is not the only way, but it is the easiest. I am including the link below. After you have your photos uploaded to Photobucket,(it helps me to have my GW post in a separate window) you just go to the HTML tag and click in the box...this copies the link, then go back to your GW post and press CTRL + V to paste the picture in your post. Alternately you can right-click and paste. If you just want to link to the photo, you can copy/paste the URL link into the "Optional Link URL" line below your post and give a 'friendly' or descriptive name to the link in the line below (Name of the Link). Comments (4)H&C... First off..I save my photo to a file in My Documents, be sure to give your picture a name or you will have a lot of numbers. I use photobucket and download the photo. When it is downloaded, you then move your curser over the photo and a drop down will appear, you left click in the empty box just under the photo and on the left, then scroll down to the bottom right of the same page and you will see a bar which says, "generate html and img code," click on this bar and you will go to another window which then gives you 5 choices. I use the second option which is for eBay and Livejoirnals, etc. Left click on this option and then right click to copy. Return to the forum message box and paste photo. What you will see is alot of letters. You need to click on the Preview Message bar at the bottom of the message box in order to see your photo. If you do not see the photo only a lot of letters, you need to change the option in the html - img window of photobucket. One further note, if you remove your photo from photobucket, you will also remove it from this forum. Hope this helps, the biggest thing to remember is to "Preview" the message in order to see the photo. Belle...See Morehow do you post photos here?
Comments (6)Hi Jessaka - At the base of the posting window, there is a photo icon that will allow you to upload a photo directly from your computer or device to your post. I've attached a screenshot. Let me know if you have any further questions!...See MoreRelated Professionals
