One point to add to that excellent FAQ. If your image is more than about 450 pixels wide, either make it smaller before you upload it, or provide it as a link so it doesn't open directly in the thread's browser window. You make it a link using the "optional link URL" window at the bottom of the posting page or by typing

(minus the spaces)

It took me awhile to figure this out. The below link is the best and easiest explanation I've found on how to post photos. Very Basically: Go to Photobucket.com and open free account. Go to My Album. Upload your pics onto photobucket. On the photo you want to put in your message: click edit, click resize, click medium. Then click the bottom button to copy a 'Websize' pic in your album. Copy the HTLM tag (3rd one down) Go to Forum and type your message and paste the HTLM tag. Click preview. In preview should show your picture. If you don't see your picture, try again. Then submit. Hi Jessaka - At the base of the posting window, there is a photo icon that will allow you to upload a photo directly from your computer or device to your post. I've attached a screenshot. Let me know if you have any further questions!

Yes it is good to remind people to reduce the image size. The sizes produced by digital cameras (multi mega pixels and up) these days are for printing large detailed photos on paper which have different requirements than when viewed on the web. It is good to reduce the image quality as well as the size for people on slower connections it will take a long time to open your photo when a lower quality image is just a good for viewing on the web. There are many programs to edit your photos. Paint Shop Pro is an inexpensive one (vs. Adobe Photoshop) or Picasa is a good free one.
