Posting Photos to the GardenWeb

To post photos to the GardenWeb, I have found Photobucket.com to be the easiest and friendliest to use. After signing up for an account on Photobucket (which is free), you'll be taken to a screen where you will see, Upload Images and Videos. You'll be able to submit several photos. Then, put the cursor on the box, Choose an Image. Left Click on Browse which will allow you to go to the file where you have stored your pictures. After selecting your picture, left click Upload. It may take a few minutes up to a half hour or so depending on how many pictures you are uploading.

Find something else to do while this is taking place -- such as watching the snow!! Oh, you're not in the snowbelt? How unfortunate because being able to survive these winters builds character -- or something like that.

After the pictures have been uploaded, scroll down the screen and you should see your pictures there. Go to one of your pictures that you want to post to the GardenWeb. You will see:

URL Link

HTML TAG

IMG Code

Left click on the IMG TAG box, a yellow highlighted copied will pop up, and your photo is copied.

Exit out of Photobucket. Bring up the GardenWeb thread where you plan to post your picture. Go down to the message box where you usually write your message. Left click so the cursor is inside the message box. Now, right click. A box will pop up with some sort of message like this:

Undo

Paste

Select All

Move the cursor down and highlight Paste. Now, left click on the highlighted Paste. And, if you have some computer talk HTML message, take a deep breath because you have done everything right. You can left click on the preview message box. And, you'll be able to see your photo. You can then add whatever message you want to post with the photo before the . You can add multiple photos to the message by toggling back and forth between Photobucket and your GardenWeb forum where you're posting your photos.
