Well everyone there are your groups. I will have the lists out shortly. They are compiled I am just waiting for a few peoples info to complete them. Please help me come up with some name ideas. I will take all your suggestions pick 4 names and those will be the group names for the year.

Those look so good together! I love the "extras" - the nose, the legs, the house spinning in a tornado (upper left). I couldn't begin to pick a favorite, but my eye really goes towards the skyline of the Emerald City. I worry that mine needs a clarification to the group: It's the start of the Yellow Brick Road. :D Do you plan on adding more blocks to it?

Robin, I am so sorry! Yes, I did receive my blocks - they are great!! Thank you! I just haven't been real 'on top of things' this past week dealing w/the flooding. It's nice to know that sometimes there's a reason why I don't get things done ASAP LOL If I had finished my birthday block quilt back then, I'd have missed putting your blocks in it. So, I'm toasting the fact that I didn't get it done & I'll have everyone's blocks in my first ever birthday quilt. Again a BIG THANK YOU for all your efforts to get these to me. Thank you all. Just to answer a few questions. No I didn't get an email from anyone in Australia. Ask her to send it again if she can. No he won't be up and around in a few days. His brothers pushed a full size mattress over on him and snapped his right femur. He had surgery on Sunday afternoon. They inserted flexible rods. He has a knee imobilizer brace that goes from his ankle to his groin. He will have to wear that for at least 3 weeks. He can't have any pressure of any kind on the foot. He is in a wheel chair to help him move around. He has a walker for when he gets a little more mobile. The doctor said he would have to stay pretty much immobile for about 2 months. She also said it would take at least 2 months to heal where he could walk on it again. He will have to have another surgery in about 6 months to remove the rods if the leg has healed correctly. And he may have to have another surgery in a few years if his leg grows longer than the other. They will have to correct that. He is 4 and at a very difficult age to have this type of injury. To old for a spika cast but barely old enough for the rods. He still has some growth spurts coming and this can cause the broken leg to grow longer because it was set with rods. When they set it and cast it they actually set it shorter to accomidate the growth spurts. But because they didn't cast it they didn't do that. So we will have to wait and see. The advantage of different names each year is that they designate different groups of people.
Using the same name would require a suffix or prefix for clarification as to which was being referred to.

Most of us aren't too particular about a name so if we don't hear from everyone else in the next couple of days, maybe Amy can make a "management decision" and get us published. I'll go along with any of them.

Okay ladies so far we have some great names.

Group 2 if there are no objections you are now the peicemakers.

And group 3 is now the Off-kilter quilters. Which works perfect because that is the only group with a gentleman in it and I was seeing all these girly titles.

I will go over the other names and pick something for groups 1 and 4 by the end of the day.

Okay ladies I think I have decided. I really loved all the names this year. It looks like most of the people in Group 1 that put in there 2 cents liked blockhounds. I like it too so Group 1 is now The Blockhounds.

And for groups 4 I know some of you like fabric floozies but we did have an objection from someone being called a floozie or sassy so how does the Calico Queens sound. I really liked that one.

Okay those are my picks for this years birthday groups. If there are no objections than those will be our official names this year.
