Judy-I'm sorry you aren't feeling well but maybe the tests will reveal something that can be treated and make you feel better.Are you diabetic? That could explain the weight loss.I have never had the B12 shots but my MIL use to take them and she said they hurt.Don't know if they really helped her because she was an alcoholic.I do take a sublingual (under the tongue) B12 and B complex tablet when I'm feeling a little low on energy.I think they do help but it takes a few days to notice the difference.I'll keep you in my prayers Judy.Try not to worry too much.

Is the circulation test is a doppler ultrasound? If so, that's really an easy test. I've had it done twice. However I'm nore worried about the weight loose. Were you trying to lose weight? thank you all so so much.I have not slept.Yes that is what test I am having mcmann.I can not stand shots or needles.The doctors always say that I tense up when they start to give me a shot of any kind or do any test that involve needles.Greg [for the ones that do not know that is my husband] any ways greg said that is why I have not slept worrying about the unknown.I have only a few hrs.Greg said we have to leave at 7.30 due to the work traffic.going into birmingham.I live in Alabama.They are trying to see too why my tiny blood veins are not working.They tell me they are not blocked but the drs told me to close my hand and make a fist and hold it tight,He said its like that.Than the doctors said it makes the larger veins work double because it puts stress on them.I am 46 and my legs and feet look like I am 90 years old with all the busted blood veins.I am so so ashame how I look.Even my stomach has them all over busted and what makes it even worst they are the kind that stands out in other words they are not flat.When I rub my hand over my legs you can really feel them.I was wandering if my platets are low or something like that.I used to hear mom talk about my brother having low platets.If anyone else has any advise please post.I have read and look up on the computer but really do not understand what I am reading since I am not a dr.Greg wander if I should go back and see my heart dr since I have a stint in my heart and have two more block arteries.I will post back tonite what we find out.Thanks.I hate to sound panic so please just pass me by if you do not want to read or post.

It's good that you're getting everything checked out at the doctor's. I have autoimmune issues, too, including Raynaud's. (And I was diagnosed with lupus years ago, but I'm not sure that was accurate.) I can tell you that vitamins help me, and eating right is essential.

I've never gotten B12 shots, but I take B12 sublingual lozenges (1000 mcg of methylcobalamin) plus a B-50 containing all the other B vitamins. It's important to take them all together rather than overload on just one. I also take Vitamins D, A, C, and E, plus magnesium.

This hasn't done a thing for the Raynaud's, but the vitamins plus good eating (lots of vegetables, for one thing) help a lot with my energy and state of mind. If I get lazy about the vitamins I really notice the difference. I never get lazy about the food.

Are your Cardiologist and Rhumatologist communicating with each other and sharing test results?
This is very, very important.

Do you have problems standing in place by chance? Do you have lower blood pressure? If so, have you ever been checked for POTS? It's a dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system and often occurs with lupus and other autoimmune diseases. The legs don't pump the blood effectly through the body. Fatique is a main symptom as is low energy levels. Check out the symptoms under the POTS Place section.

Just so you know, not all doctors are aware this condition even exists (it's a newer diagnosis), so if you think you may have it, and mention it to a doctor, they may give you a strange look. The Mayo Clinic has infomation on it too.

Hope someone can figure out what exactly is wrong and find something to help you. On top of eating well, be sure to keep well hydrated.

My mom's been taking those sublingual(under the tongue) B12 things and I think they're making her feel a lot better, more energy, less fatigue.

A simple blood test can tell you if you are low in vit. B12. I give myself injections once a month. They are not painful at all. I haven't noticed a big difference yet and it's been a few months.

Both Lupus and heart problems can cause the symptoms you describe. I hope you feel better soon. (((Judy)))
