Yes. They are so gorgeous! And so expensive! I blog freelance for Horton Brasses so I've actually had the opportunity to hold them in my hand. This is not a shameless plug. I am just being honest. These are massively awesome pulls. I have the RH bin pulls in my kitchen and like them just fine. But the Queslett pulls can totally kick the RH pulls' ass (if they had an ass). Super heavy quality. That being said, if I was doing my remodel today, I probably could not afford them.

Everyone who enters our contest will get a virtual coupon to use on any one order (no limit to that one order)-whether we get enough contestants or not. Yes, the new hardware will still be expensive, but it will be a a fair bit less.

LOVE those, thanks for sharing. I want to enter the contest too - but we just have demo completed and nothing else done yet :( We are definitely at least a month out from having cabinets in.

slush --- Enter the contest! What do you have to lose? They accept pictures and plans and wouldn't it be great to see a GW'er win! I entered too (unfancy farmhouse), and I am so in love with some of these new pieces, as well as some of the old classics, which I bought for other areas before I ran out budget :-). But....win or no win, I would love love to see somebody here win because we can live vicariously and enjoy the process! Just like Bee's backsplash, it is fun to see it evolve. Celineike, love your kitchen too and these pieces would be great in your space. Keep your fingers crossed for a GW kitchen to win!

Slush - I think you're in the perfect phase. I've now got a photo to be able to show, but the contest won't close until after I've needed to order pulls (which I had to do a couple days ago).

I think the timing on something like this is problematic. It may best work for someone who wants a little renovating-touchup rather than who has a new kitchen going in with none in the background! No one wants to wait for some random judges' decision (sorry sabjimata) - and then what if you don't even win and you'd been delaying your own purchase? Just silly.

So I think you're in the right place for such a contest, and I think the ones they should be searching for are people who don't like their *current* hardware. Making this work with a new build or to-the-studs-renovation is just too hard.

(just sayin - not trying to be insulting of the contest, but supportive of your seemingly too-raw state. I think it's, surprisingly, the ideal time if you can envision already what sort of hardware you'd even be wanting).

I think i need to order my hardware sooner than later. My cabs come in 2 weeks and GC said get your hardware now so we don't have to wait.

Thanks all for encouraging me. If anything, at least we can get enough entrants to get the contest going! I'll work with DH this weekend to see about submitting an entry. We actually ordered cup pulls from myknobs.com last week after seeing Mgkinz's kitchen. They are the Top Knob brand from the Asbury Collection in polished nickel.

Our cabinets are coming next week, but we still have so much to get done including plumbing, electric, drywall, flooring, etc. Probably same boat as you Celineiek :)
