Adrienne, It's timely you should post this, because just this morning I was thinking, "Well, here comes the 'Anniversary Season' again." I lost my mother in May ... 19 years ago. A very close friend in July ... 13 years ago. My father in July ... 36 years ago. So, even though it's been so very many years, these dates still and always will mean a great deal. I think of these loved ones all day long on these anniversaries .... and while I think of the loss and all that they have missed, I always end up spending more time thinking about how blessed I am to have had them in my life at all, even if just for a little while. The days are bittersweet, but much more sweet than bitter. Some years I mention to others what day it is for me, other years I don't. But I carry my loved ones very close to me on those days. Thanks so much guys!!!! Uffdaaaaa....spent 1/2 the day cleaning carpets in my 90y/o DMIL's condo that we got her moved out of recently, into a better care facility. Went out for supper tonight...and my wise DW got us a couple of MN Vikings tickets to the Sept. 27 home-opener against the 49-ers!!!! Get to see Favre in Purple...WOW...that'll be different! Soooo, in 10 days we're heading to Minneapolis! Saaaaayyyy...on Nov. 5th, KISS's "Alive 35" tour is gonna be at the Target Center!!! Might have to try for that one... Faron

I'm like my Mom. She had 4 quick deliveries. Her third child (my brother) was delivered in the hallway of the hospital. With my youngest sister (her fourth) , my parents phoned for an ambulance, but Suzie wouldn't wait. She was delivered at home on our living room couch.I got to see my new baby sister when she was just minutes old. Then my Dad drove me to school.
