Oh it was so much fun to meet them...She is such a doll...

I can tell Denny enjoyed them too...He was talking a blue streak....I always talk too much.....

We met them at the railroad museum then went to take pictures of the Golden Spike monument. Then back to our house for supper.

We had "Chili Rellenos" casserole and "Chicken Broccoli with Parmesan Cheese" casserole. And a salad.

I know the two casseroles don't go together...but I like to always make two so if they don't like one they should like the other.

Who's coming next...we love visits....

I know Moni is coming in Aug...Anyone else want to come when she is here????

You're all invited...lol.

Thank you, both, so much! We really enjoyed ourselves, and dinner was great. We'll be back the next time we get this way. You should see Patti & Denny's house! It's fantastic! We really like old barns, and I can't think of a better use for one that is no longer being used, except to recycle it into a beautiful home, and that's what they have done. It's very warm and welcoming. And so are they. We did get a pic of the four of us that I see Patti didn't post! I have to download mine to the computer and upload it to Photobucket. Don't think that will be tonight, tho. I'm pooped! and it's cold and rainy. Thank you, again, Patti.

We made it to the campground in W. Omaha, finally. The wind got pretty bad. The big highway signs say that I-80 is closed at N. Platte due to blizzard conditions. Guess which way we are headed. But, the good news is that it looks like it will clear by tomorrow morning, by the radar at the weather service.

I banned all brooms from my house when I discovered the Swiffer. I cannot tell you how much I love this thing. I bought a bunch of cheap microfiber cloths from Amazon and wash and reuse them to avoid the continued cost of the Swiffer brand cloths. I Swiffer most of the the main floor of our house (LR, DR, K, bath) every single day and it is absolutely awesome for dog hair, which is the majority of our "dirty floor" issues. As long as I have a dog(s), which will probably be as long as I am breathing, I will never go back to a broom and dust pan. ETA: I do keep a small whisk broom and pan under the kitchen sink for broken glass clean up. I am notorious for breaking things and the Swiffer is not good for cleaning up glass. It was fun. This is the third time I have met Tami and the second time I have met her husband. We had lots of laughs and great food. Toured Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. The leaves haven't started to turn as much as we had hoped but we had a wonderful time sightseeing anyway.

TAmi and Merle are just the cutest couple, Patti and I'm sure they had a lot of fun with you and Denny. Wish I'd been there, I love chili rellenos! That's what I order whenever I find 'em on a menu.

Can't wait to see pictures! Be safe, Tami. Watch out for that wind.

Sorry I didn't make it over there, but I'm glad you all had a great time. Patti and Denny are both great people, and always make you feel welcome. Hope to make it next time.

I haven't met her husband, but I have met Tami. And I have met Pattico and Denny. And they are ALL wonderful LOL! Add me to the list of recipients for that chili relleno casserole!

When I win the lottery I am gonna visit EVERYBODY ;).
