I am so sorry to hear this satine. I breaks my heart. I too have been through the drug scene with one of my kids.

Oh me..I'm so sorry you're having to deal (and worry) about this! Adding all of you to my Prayers now!

I have a good friend that was in a similar situation. It'd been almost a year since she'd heard from her daughter. Then, one day back in Nov. she picked up the paper and the daughter had been arrested and was in jail. Of course, that wasn't where she wanted her to be..but at least she knew she was alive and doing OK (or as OK as someone in jail can be). The daughter is still there awaiting her court date. In the meantime, my friend sleeps well knowing where her daughter is and that she has a bed to sleep in and food to eat.

I Pray all goes well for your daughter. This is something she'll have to come to the end of herself!

Hope you hear from her soon. I similar thing happened to my SIL and her young daughter my niece age 25(and with three kids but never married). The daughter asked her Mom for $2000 to move from one apartment to another, took the money and moved from New York to Florida. No one, not her friends or siblings, knew exactly where she was. About six months later, the daughter phoned home and they all made up. I pray you don't have to wait that long. I'm also praying she's okay and not with druggie friends.

Oh, I'm sorry, Satine. My nephew is trying to picking up the pieces of his life after a downward spiral with meth. I'm all for taking responsibility for one's own actions, but drugs are so, so powerful...

Dear Kters, I want to thank all of you for your prayers and encouraging words. I still don't know anything concrete but my middle daughter has passed out a picture of her missing sister in the area of the city we think she is in. We are hoping someone will call with some information. There is a hole in my heart and soul. I lost my husband 9 years ago and now Im losing my daughter. Almost more than I can stand. Gosh, I can't tell you how much I feel for you, Satine. I do have one idea: There are often clergy or lay volunteers who are on the streets looking to help (especially) young people who need to get off the streets. Have you considered contacting churches in the area in which you think she's living to see if they have any such people in their congregation who might be able to help you? My mother's cousin is a priest in Portland, Or and his job for quite a few years now is to make friends with the homeless in a certain area of town in hopes of helping them get off the streets and into a better life. Just a thought, and I hope you are able to have a better piece of mind very soon. Will keep you in my prayers.
