Bosch does not stand behind it’s parts or technical assistance. My dishwasher (Ihave two of them in my kitchen) is about 3 years old when the programming panel on the door stopped working. i ordered and installed a new one from Bosch and the panel continued to say ”add salt” even though my dishwasher (800 series) doesn’t have a salt dispenser. I then had to hire a professional to come to my home and fix the unit. After a long struggle, he couldn’t fix it either, so he called Bosch and was told to replace the harness. I ordered the harness, arranged for the repair guy to come back. He installed the new harness and it still didn’t work. So he called Bosch again and this time was told to replace the control unit on the right side of the dishwasher. I again ordered the new part, the process was repeated and the dishwasher still didn’t work. Now I’m $600+ into repairs and the unit has been unusuable for 2 months. I subsequently found out that the right side control unit has nothing to do with programming, even though we were trying to fix a programming issue. Finally the repair man determined that the replacement control door unit that I had ordered from Bosch and replaced was defective. So I called Bosch told them the above and asked for a free replacement of their defective part. They made me send them all my bills, including the one for their bad part. Then they made we wait only to be told there is a one month guarantee on their electrical parts, and since the part was purchased some 2 months earlier, they would NOT send me a free replacement. They knew the one month guaranty was exceeded because of their technical people telling us to replace multiple other parts that didn’t solve the problem and they knew I had purchased two of their dishwashers at the same time, yet they refused to replace the defective replacement for the door control unit. I replaced that part a second time using another vender and my didhwasher now worksOtis. How greedy is this company given the circumstances just outlined? Your dishwasher will eventually break and you will find yourself in my situation. Can you trust this company to treat you properly? I don’t think so, and neither should you. I’ve written this to protect you, so I hope you act accordingly.

I really need to go see some samples :) Ironcook- It's confusing, because I'm getting a pretty good idea what I like (since changing the kitchen location) but not exactly how to pull it all together. I really like the cinnamon tone cabinets in these two pictures. It's a darker wood, but not orange-y and not too light or dark. I also love the white countertops...and the marble, when it's mainly white, as in third picture...but notice how beautiful it is with all that stainless! So, my debate is really over, whether to put the 'cinnamon' cabinets on the perimeter or the island. In both my pictures, they're on the perimeter, so I wonder if that would work better, in my space. If so, what to do with the island? I don't want it to be the same, because I want the island to feel like a worktable. So, I could do white (but that's kind of stark) or maybe a color...like green, with white or butcher block top. Then, maybe blue for the hutch. I'd like to add some painted colors with the wood, just to mix things up a bit...since I also have the wood table and chairs. So, to answer your question, I have no idea! LOL But, I am trying to narrow it down and I think the wood might be a nice choice for the island. And yes, I do want an antique brass faucet and white sink for my main sink...and probably the same thing on the island, unless I decide to do all metal. There are some wonderful, round antique brass sinks that would be perfect with butcher block...see, there I go again! LOL Hopefully, I'll get this all sorted out soon, but it's such a relief to get the overall plan in place, I don't mind playing around a bit more, with the details :)

Julie , I don't think that is necessary or in the manual guide for install to do that. My builders had input from where we bought appliances and cabinet makers and thoroughly reviewed Wolf instructions. It is just the gas coming out is louder then the other two. The technician said it is completely normal ! But the way its built the gas makes a bit more sound when coming out of those tow burners. I understand I loved having help, and getting opinions. It really is a sleek unit I don't think there is anything else out there with that " look". plus it is bigger then most drop in units.

Here is the deck. It’s on a steep hill. Two level. The lower deck is. Traditional hung of ledger - i.e., hangs off ledger off Cripple Wall. Front sits on beam on post Upper deck. Does not hang - no ledger. Its joists SITS on the wall plate Forward end supported on posts (shared with lower deck). Posts sit on deep piers (20-40 feet deep) The whole house sits on deep piers, i.e., pier and grade beam foundation. You can see part of the lateral brace - I hope to replace that with stainless steel cable and tension ties. Ps. The lower deck’s frame ties the structural box back to the house. Creating a firm structural box. I’m having difficulty finding a contractor who has built such a deck - i.e., I’m looking g for a referral.
