I want the thermomix. I follow an australian food blogger and she makes amazing things on a daily basis. I can't believe it all comes from the same machine. I'm sure I could get one shipped to Texas some how but if I had 3K I would prefer one of those miele rotary irons.

I would like a gadget that unpacks and puts away all my groceries when i come home from the market. And also, one that washes my fruits and vegetables, dries them, and then puts them in their proper place. I can make my own cookies.

I recently went to a Thermomix demonstration, sorbet, bread, risotto, chocolate custard, followed by a hot chocolate was fantastic. Friends that have one think they are fantastic and uses it all the time. I would love one, would use it lots, but slightly under $2,000 Australian, not likely.
