How do I change the font on my computer?

I have a new laptop and I can't find where I would change the font. I used to be able to do this on my desktop (even though I can't seem to remember how I did it), but can't seem to do it on my laptop. Help!

do you mean just on the browser or the actual settings in windows?

those should cover if it is your windows fonts if you want to change browser font please let us know which browser and version.

I want to change it on the browser..I guess. LOL. I want the font different when reading here at the KT.

Yeah, just when Dear Daughter was old enough to stop doing really weird things to our computer monitors, a couple of cats came to live with us. I don't know how they do the things they do, but it's really annoying to get my windows perfectly arranged on the screen to monitor various job streams to have the cat go bug hunting and log me out of my sessions. Figuring out how to change the font is just a matter of wandering the menu bar, and looking for options that look useful.

I think you might mean Firefox? Then go up top to tools then options then I believe it is under the content tab or general tab, I can't look since I am on my tablet. Here is a link that might be useful: instructions

Do you use reading glasses as sold at drug stores? Not intended as a snippy comment, if you don't maybe you should. And you may need a higher power of magnification for PC use than you'd use for general reading. Many do use them for PC screens - images and fonts can be hard to read, that's a common problem for seasoned citizens. As for me, my near-sighted self wears glasses with progressive lenses for close vision but with some laptops, I need to take my glasses off because the distance can be too far for the reading part of the glasses and too close for the distance part. Often I need to move the screen back and forth until the images are clear. Maybe some of these tips can help you.

not knowing what browser lets go with this.
If firefox tools options content there you can select a font and size.
How can I change the font size in my browser?

It's firefox but I see no tools option. There is a Sony thing going across the top of my browser that says: most visited, getting started, ebay, etc...no tools. Which is why, I guess I am confused.

It sounds like your menu toolbar is not turned on try right clicking up top and put a check for menu toolbar and any other ones you want displayed. Then you will have the tools option. You can also temporarily show toolbar options by holding the Alt key and mark the ones that you want.
